Multi-platinum, Six-time Grammy-winner Amy Grant to Release First New Music in Ten Years

Multi-platinum, six-time GRAMMY-winner Amy Grant anncounced today that she is releasing her first new music in a decade.

During a two-part interview with Craig Melvin on THE TODAY SHOW, conducted in her home this week, Grant excitedly shared that the first track, “Trees We’ll Never See,” will be available across all DSP’s on March 24th and can be save pre-orderd/pre-saved now.

“Trees We’ll Never See” was written by Marshall Altman, who produced her critically-acclaimed album, “How Mercy Looks From Here,” and Michael White. Grant will release another new song this spring, which will be announced soon.

“So much creativity has been put on hold in my life, for all kinds of reasons,” shares Grant when talking about the new music. “Last summer I was asked to sing on a new Cory Asbury song yet to be released. This might be one of the best songs I have heard in a long time. I was so glad they waited for me to heal up and get back to the studio. Inspired by Cory’s beautiful song, Marshall Altman and I started talking about songs that we’ve written recently that affected us. I played him one of mine. He played me one of his. His song was “Trees We’ll never See. I loved it immediately and asked him if I could record it, and within two weeks, both songs were mixed & mastered!”

This spring, she will be heading to 70 cities across the U.S., excited to share new music and fan favorites.

“What are you building your life on? Sometimes we may not even mean to, but we start building on the promises of this world. At times, it can be difficult to navigate.

I wrote this one with my brothers, Brian Fowler and Micah Kuiper. All other ground is sinking sand,” he shares of the message behind the track. “Honored to have my man, Zach, on this one with me. I love this song, and I love Zach’s voice on it. Gary Pratt’s Celebrates Country Living on Latest Single “’Til Your Boots Are Dirty”

PITTSBURGH, PA – March 2nd, 2023– Pittsburgh’s Gary Pratt is an award-winning country musician who has gained fame on both national and international music charts. He blends the classic country sound with his unique musical approach to create songs that are toe-tappingly, boot-scoot-able, memorable and catchy.

His last single, “Sounds Like Whiskey to Me” is a testament to his craft, having reached #1 on the National Radio Hits airplay charts, while hitting the UK iTunes Top 10.  Now, Pratt is set to release the final single from his MTS Records juggernaut, “Something Worth Remembering.”

“’Til Your Boots Are Dirty” is being released on Friday, March 3rd, 2023. This new single represents Gary Pratt’s country heritage, and it serves as an ode to all things country.

Pratt says, ‘It reminds me of where I came from…The farms, the dirt biking, the mudding, and catching crawfish in the creek at my great Grandpap’s farm.  We also had a few chickens, horses and cows in a barn my Dad built, by our house. Believe me, there’s no way of getting around the dirt and mud when you raise animals like that.”

He continues, “I have a Soft-top Jeep Wrangler that I keep, for the most part, pretty shined up and cleaned. One day I was driving it, top down, on my way to Tonic Studio’s to record, when a guy pulled up next to me at a red light and yelled, ‘You better feed that thing a little mud.’

It made me laugh.  It validated that I had to record this song.  I thought if he only knew I was on my way to record a song about that very thing. If you listen to the very last line in the song, I used his inspiration: ‘You ain’t country til’ you feed ’em a little mud.’ Coming from the sticks and experiencing the true Country Life is a blessing.”

Gary Pratt and his singing partner, Kate Szaller will be opening for Confederate Railroad in Pittsburgh on March 9th, 2023.

See Your Shadow Plays Bartender on Latest Single “Whatever on The Rocks”

See Your Shadow Song writing is a prominent production house that has been turning out international sales and airplay chart-toppers for the past 20 years.

Under the artistic direction of Michael Coleman aka “The Metropolitan Cowboy,” the musical conglomerate has racked up multiple iTunes #1 singles, while earning numerous industry awards, including a win at the recent Independent Music Network Awards.

Their last single, “Crazy Things Like That” enjoyed multiple weeks atop the National Radio Hits airplay charts. Now, See Your Shadow has released their latest single, “Whatever on the Rocks.”

‘Whatever on The Rocks’ represents a milestone for SYS, as it was one of the first songs that Michael Coleman and J. Richard Murray worked on together. Released on March 3rd, 2023, the song flips the script on the usual country drinkin’ love song.

Michael Coleman explains: “I was going through a really tough time when I wrote the song. I had gone through a break-up that left me with a broken heart for a number of years, so the original poem was told from my perspective as a bar patron drinking my troubles away. It gave real insight into a dark time in my life.”

He further added, “However, when we decided that the piece should be brought to life in a song, I changed the direction to tell the story not from my eyes, but through the eyes of the bartender and I don’t think that has ever been done before.

The song is very simple in its construction like the original poem, and I think it is that simplicity that makes the piece really intimate.”

After primarily being known for its dance club music, and its work in film and television, See Your Shadow Song writing rebranded itself and decided to switch its focus and sound to its first love, country and western. With a new stable of vocalists and musicians, See Your Shadow Song writing, has crafted and developed its new sound harkening back to the vivid storytelling and emotion of old-school country.

Steven Curtis Chapman Makes History, Receives His 50th No. 1 Radio Single With “Don’t Lose Heart”

Steven Curtis Chapman is already the most-awarded Christian music artist in history and as of this week, he continues his reign. His current radio single, “Don’t Lose Heart,” has hit No. 1, making it Chapman’s 50th career chart-topping song and the first artist to achieve this feat in the industry.

It was his single “His Eyes” from 1988’s Real Life Conversations album that put Chapman on the course to a plethora of No. 1 songs, a list that also includes “I Will Be Here,” “The Great Adventure,” “Dive,” “Live Out Loud,” and “For The Sake Of The Call.” Chapman shares this historic milestone with just a few select artists who boast 50 or more top radio hits, including Madonna, George Strait, and Conway Twitty.

“I’m completely blown away by the support for this song and for my music, even after so many years,” Steven Curtis Chapman exclaims. “To ever have a number one song at radio as an artist/songwriter is a dream come true, and to have fifty is simply unbelievable! This only happens because of an amazing team and a community of friends around me who have believed in the unbelievable. I’m grateful and humbled beyond words.”

dontloseheartno1

“Don’t Lose Heart” was released in late 2022 and was the most-added song at radio for three straight weeks. As the first single from Chapman’s latest album, Still, he was inspired to write the song through his journey in the shallowed valley of grief and loss he and his family have traveled. He released a new version earlier this month featuring country artist Mitchell Tenpenny, a version that has quickly connected with listeners thanks to the song’s upbeat honesty and truth.

Holly Zabka, President, Provident Entertainment/Sony Music, shares. “We are so honored and excited to be a part of Steven’s 50th No. 1 song with ‘Don’t Lose Heart.’ This unprecedented and monumental achievement for Steven is a testament to the incredible artist and songwriter he is and can only be outshined by the countless lives that have been changed by his music.”

Chapman will be sharing “Don’t Lose Heart,” along with another fan favorite from the Still album, “Kindness,” as well as many of his top hits on tour. Kicking off this Friday, March 2, his “Still” Tour will hit 24 markets throughout the spring. Click HERE for the most updated tour schedule.
