Switchfoot releases “California Christmas” off their upcoming Christmas LP, this is our Christmas album, out November 4th. Marking the band’s first-ever holiday record, this is our Christmas album finds Switchfoot infusing their signature West Coast sound to a number of holiday classics and five, new original Christmas songs. Cheery, nostalgic and brimming with sunshine, the 11 track collection was inspired by everyone from the Beach Boys to Black Flag, and promises to be the perfect soundtrack for the holiday season with a new California twist.
“Christmas is an emotional treasure chest for a songwriter to pull from,” lead Singer Jon Foreman says. “It’s a season stretched tight with contradictions: celebrating the free gifts of love and grace with an outburst of materialist capitalist consumption. An emotional roller coaster of family and friends, hopes and scars- bringing out the worst and the best in all of us.” A project that’s been years in the making, this is our Christmas album, wraps its arms wide around these contradictions.
this is our Christmas album is a follow up to 2021’s interobang, which saw the band opt for raw 60’s era pop-infused feel and straying away from their typical rock sound. Penned through the pandemic, interrobang celebrates the journey when the destination is unsure. It illustrates the contrast between joy and pain, faith and doubt, and marks a bold new creative peak for the multi-platinum rockers.
REVERE Portuguese Unscripted present a bilingual version of a song that’s been resonating with churches and houses of prayer all over the world, ‘Digno de Tudo/Worthy Of It All’.
An amazing connection joined two House Of Prayer worship leaders when they met in Nashville, leading them to record the anthemic song of adoration together.
Laura Hackett Park from iHOP Kansas City, USA and Emi Sousa from Florianópolis House of Prayer in Brazil are both familiar with the harp and bowl worship style – where scriptures come alive in songs – which is infused in this version of ‘Digno de Tudo/Worthy Of It All’.
The second Vineyard Worship single recorded live at their youth event, Dreaming the Impossible, is set to release on 14th October.
The song, titled ‘Running’, is interpreted by songwriters and worship leaders Beth McNeil and Jon Solway. ‘Running’ is a slower and meditative track adorned with strings and spacious voicings that explores the beauty of Jesus’ grace.
Telling the story of the new song, Beth explains that its inspiration came from the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15 and the amazing picture of the Lord’s heart painted through it. ‘Running’ cleverly links the touching parable told by Jesus to his death a few chapters later, connecting us afresh with God’s life-changing grace.
As the single ends, the recording captures a beautiful moment as the track fades and the crowd sings in simple devotion. Produced by Jonny Bird, Vineyard Worship’s new single follows a first live release from Dreaming the Impossible, this year’s national youth festival which gathered three thousand from all over the UK.

Canadian-based Nigerian Gospel artiste, Abijossy is back again with a brand new music video titled “Ni Suuru (Be Patient)”.
Featuring the talented Motivated Dave on his new track, Abijossy reaffirms that Patience is a great virtue. He also admonishes that all will be well only if we remain focused and wait on God’s time.
Motivated Dave while sharing his testimonials on this new release, he noted that the singer’s songs have never been just about flair and melody, as Abijossy has always paid particular attention to the edification of the soul through his lyrics.
“Even though the verse was to be just a little over 60 seconds, many hours of studying and reflecting went into it”, he added.
“Often, we put ourselves under undue pressure due to other people’s expectations! We believe we would disappoint those who have certain expectations of us if we do not live up to their standards and definition of accomplishment. The truth is, we end up hurting ourselves when we constantly do that!
This is what leads to edginess and irritation! This is what breeds impatience! We start to compare our lives using other people’s yardsticks and standards!
You must come to the point where competition does not excite you anymore. If others think they are winning, congratulate them! If they think they are doing better, good for them! Getting ahead or behind shouldn’t matter if you know that your essence of living is being accomplished and you are getting better every day!”,Motivated Dave also said.
Abijossy has served us in the past with a number of excellent and worded tracks like ‘The Breath’, ‘Olowogbogboro’, ‘Awamaridi’, ‘Ogo’, ‘Igba(Time’ and lots more.
Abijossy currently lives in Alberta, Canada, and has become a blessing to many lives.
Ni Suuru’s beautiful video was shot and directed by Korrect Films (Nigeria) and Gbenga Awolere Films (Canada).
