Donehey is a songwriter, performing artist, author, podcaster, and most importantly husband and father, but for him, learning to embrace the unexpected has been the very thing that continually brings forth encouraging and soul-healing music. When the world was impacted by the pandemic, Donehey, like so many others, found himself struggling. Tenth Avenue North, the band that he founded and led for so many years, was amicably disbanding and planning their farewell tour when everything stopped. As months passed, he realized he needed to mourn these drastic life changes as well as the unknown. The more he began to open up and let himself feel sadness and the sting of the pain, “the more joy came flooding in on the other side,” he explains. Passionate worship leader, Victoria Orenze releases a powerful new single accompanied by an awesome live visual titled “Uwese.”

“Uwese” simply means “Thank You” in Benin’s native dialect. The song is beautifully arranged with an infectious melody and chorus that finds Victoria Orenze showing her pitch-perfect voice and joyfully thanking God as we celebrate Christ.

For Gospel Reggae music lovers looking to experience the music video for “Never Fail” from indie artist Samuel Suh, the wait is over! South African based, and Cameroonian born artist Samuel Suh has released a new video for the 2nd single titled ‘Never Fail’, a track from the ‘Faithful & True’  Album, which was released on the 5th of November 2021.

This comes after the release of the  “Strengthener” music video which is the first single from this project. The music video is a celebration of the victory in Christ Jesus and the assurance that He has never failed and will never fail.

Stephen Stanley releases the official music video for “Heavy.” Stanley co-wrote the track along with Ethan Hulse and Tedd Tjornhom. Mitch Parks and Tedd T. produced the song. “Heavy,” which dropped Nov 2021 is available now to download or stream.

With lyrics taken straight from the Bible (Psalm 37:7, 42:1, 46:10 and Isaiah 7:4) this has become one of my favorite songs I’ve ever recorded. The beauty of strings coupled with their intensity remind me of the struggle that often exists when attempting to trust God with all the things we’d rather control ourselves.

Even as I type these words, the world outside my home is covered under a think blanket of snow. The schools in Middle Tennessee ground to a halt, most of Nashville did, with roads more treacherous than we’re used to navigating. We’ve been FORCED to stop and to rest.
