Life.Church Worship released two new singles today and announced their brand-new live album, Sing As One, releasing July 21. The singles, titled “Clean Heart” and “Faithful (You Are),” showcase a diverse sound and heartfelt lyrics that aim to cut out distractions and help people fully experience the presence of God.

The first song “Clean Heart” is inspired by Psalm 51:10, that says “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” This song is a simple, reflective prayer that leads people to invite God to examine their hearts and get rid of anything that’s not from Him.

The second track, “Faithful (You Are)”, is already a favorite among the members of the Life.Church community. The upbeat song is full of energy, and the lyrics serve as a reminder of who God is and all He has done, while also giving Him praise for His goodness.

Both tracks were written and produced by Life.Church Worship’s talented team of musicians and songwriters, who have quickly become known for their ability to craft deeply spiritual and uplifting music.

Growing up in a family of musicians and ministers, Plake’s path to signing with BEC Recordings took a few unexpected detours. As a teen, he led worship in his church and received his GED in his junior year of high school to attend ministry school. But it wasn’t until he auditioned for NBC’s The Voice that music became a possible career path, placing fifth in his season and doors were open for him to pursue music full-time.

After a few years in LA recording and producing, his ever-present sense of emptiness grew into a full-on collapse, eventually leading to a breakdown. Based in the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Grace was raised to be deeply rooted in the Christian faith. Like some others in the community, she began singing in the church choir at a young age.

Sooner rather than later, it was clear that she had a gift for music. As she got older, she started writing her own songs, and her passion for spreading God’s love through music only grew stronger.

Grace’s journey to becoming a professional musician has been a long and winding one. She has performed at countless Christian events and community gatherings over the years and has also been a part of some regional music festivals.
