Following the April release of the critically acclaimed single “Plead The Blood,” GRAMMY®- nominated songwriter Chris Davenport drops a new worship anthem today titled “The King.” Both songs are featured on his upcoming solo album, TIME, slated for June 30 (Capitol CMG).

Davenport shares, “‘The King’ is a victory song. Right out of the gate,  we wanted to start from victory. I think too often Christians can look at the Cross and think that Jesus just barely eeked out a win, but the reality is that Jesus pummeled sin. He absolutely crushed the enemy. It was an onslaught and grace was the champion, so I wanted to write a song from that place of embracing the wonder of Jesus’ power, His life and resurrection, His authority, and His Kingdom still to come.”

With “Plead The Blood,” which Davenport recorded with Cody Carnes and Brandon Lake (listen HERE), the song is currently top 20 at Air1 Radio and steadily climbing weekly. Since its release, it’s had 1.6M global streams and the video has received more than 500K views on YouTube.

Chris Davenport has been a quiet, yet mighty fixture within the worship community for years, co-writing many of the genre’s biggest songs, including Phil Wickham’s “Hymn Of Heaven,” “Too Good To Not Believe” by Brandon Lake, and Cody Carnes’ “Be Glad.” He also contributed to Hillsong Worship and UNITED songs “Another In The Fire,” “Grace To Grace,” and “Seasons.”

GRAMMY® Award-winner Brandon Lake is worshipping with his hands held high in latest single “Praise You Anywhere” – available today across all digital streaming platforms.

The official music video for the song releases today as well, shot in between recording sessions for his upcoming album due out this Fall.Dubbed “one of the most sought-after artists in the Christian genre” by MusicRow Magazine, Lake has been teasing the new tune to fans on social media resulting in over 2 million views and prompting him to release the track.

Serving as a prompt to turn to God no matter the situation and give him the praise he is worthy of, the new release features Lake’s bold vocals set to an addictive groove and drum-driven beat. Last week, Lake took home 3 K-LOVE Fan Awards for Male Artist Of The Year, as well as Song Of The Year and Worship Song Of The Year for “Gratitude.”

Adept Nigerian gospel music minister and songwriter, Adeh Gbolahan offers up the official video for his latest album title track, “Mantles.”

From the standpoint of scriptures, “Mantle” symbolizes “anointing, authority, and position.” The song hinges on requesting from God the mantle of revival, dreams and vision, leadership, wealth, and influence to fall afresh.

According to Adeh, “The song will activate ancient mantles as people listen and pray in the Holy Ghost.”

Minister Gbolahan, who is a graduate of marketing from Lagos State University, currently serves as the Global music director of Harvesters International Christian Centre.
