Bethel Music releases Brandon Lake’s latest single “I Need A Ghost” off highly anticipated solo album House of Miracles.

The passionate, blues-driven rocker extolling the Holy Spirit’s power was unconventionally inspired. “The track came to me unlike any other song I’d ever received,” Lake shares. “It was dropped into my spirit as I was sitting in my car and I wrote the entire song without an instrument. It’s an honest reflection of what I was feeling and wanted to say in that moment. You can look to a lot of things in this world to fill a void or be entertained, but the Holy Ghost is where we find true relationship. When Jesus left this earth He gave us His Spirit, and if I’ve received that gift, I can look inward to find what I need.”

“Hopefully God can use this song to encourage other people the way it’s spoken to me,” Lake adds. “I’m not playing games; I’m not here to entertain. I want every breath to be enveloped by the Spirit of God and to be used by Him. I’ve only got one life and I want to live it abundantly in relationship with the Father.”

LYRICS

VERSE 1:
O Lord my God
When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds
Thy hands have made
I see the stars
I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed

REFRAIN:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art
Then sings my soul
My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

REFRAIN:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art
Then sings my soul
my Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art!

VERSE 3:
And when I think
That God His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die
I scarce can take it in
That on the Cross
My burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin

REFRAIN:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art
Then sings my soul
My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

VERSE 4:
When Christ shall come
With shout of acclamation
And take me home
What joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow
In humble adoration
And then proclaim
My God
How great Thou art

REFRAIN:
Then sings my soul
My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art
Then sings my soul
My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou art

LYRICS

I give you glory
For all you’ve brought me through
And now I’m ready
For whatever you wanna do

I’m moving forward
To follow after you
And now I’m ready
For whatever you wanna do

Your presence
Is an open door
We want you Lord like never before
Your presence
Is an open door
So come now Lord like never before

In every season
Your grace has been enough
And I’m believing
The best is yet to come
The cross before me
My hope on things above
And in you Jesus
The best is yet to come

I know breakthrough is coming
By faith I see a miracle
My God made me a promise
And it won’t stop now
