“I remember driving to Jenn Johnson’s house on a freezing January day in Nashville during our writing camp for Bethel Music,” says Harrison. “Admittedly, I was a bit nervous since it was my last session before heading home, and I felt like I was running low on ideas.
I was on the phone with my wife, Carling, as I was pulling up to the session, processing and sharing with her I wasn’t sure what I was going to bring into the room. On that same call, I started thinking about all God has done in my own family’s life, and the phrase ‘When I look to the cross, I remember what You’ve done’ came to mind. I even started humming a bit of the bridge melody right there in the car.”
Adds Harrison, “When we sat down to write, Jenn, Ben Tan, and I all felt like we were writing a song for the church – a song that would serve as a reminder of the power and faithfulness of Jesus!”
