Centricity Music, the No. 1 Billboard Top Christian Albums Imprint for three consecutive years, signs Bradenton, Florida (Tampa) native and current Nashville area-based artist and songwriter Jaye King to an exclusive, worldwide recording and publishing contract.

Raised by a single mom, King’s story is both messy and miraculous. Given his upbringing, one might assume that he’d be guarded, but instead, King is surprisingly an open book. His melodies are as big and bold as his personality, but his lyrics are as intimate as his prayers.

“What really drew us to sign Jaye was certainly his remarkable musicality, but also the maturity and servant heart that he carries with him when he walks into a room,” says Matt Ewald, VP of A&R. “Jaye is a professional level drummer, bass guitar and keys player, but those gifts are more than matched by his heart for family, the local church and his mission to spread the hope of the Gospel. When you get to know Jaye you quickly encounter a person you want to get behind and be in lock step with.”

While King is comfortable in a supporting role behind a drum kit, he says people regularly commend how he appears to own the stage with notable charisma and confidence. “That’s God. That’s the Lord working, because I get up there, and I know why I’m there,” shares King, whose love of entertainers like Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars is channeled into his live show. “When you’re an artist, usually it’s ‘look at me,’ but my sole calling is to tell people to look at Him.”

Triumphant introductory single “Hard Place” turns the familiar “rock and a hard place” idiom on its head with personal depth set to a soulful, pop-centric groove. “It’s this idea that I had to go a long way to get to where the Lord has called me — and I haven’t arrived — but I know He’s the rock because I found Him in a place that was low.

I found Him in a place that was messy,” King observes of the original he penned with Sajan Nauriyal and Nick Bays. “What kind of God, in true perfection, is willing to get dirty? Well, that’s the God I serve. The places in my life where I was the most stuck are the places where I found Christ.”

At its core, King’s music speaks to the heart of a kid without a dad present in his life, but grew into a man who can’t help but tell others about his Heavenly Father. King insists he could never write a story that good.

“The only part I’m playing in all of this is saying ‘yes’ every day,” he says of his musical journey. “It’s just obedience and day-to-day trust in where the Lord is leading. Wherever He leads, I’m going to obey and follow.”

Bri Babineaux first hit No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart with the country-tinged, “He’s My Rock,” in August 2021. Over the last decade, she’s racked up millions of digital streams for her signature songs such as “Make Me Over,” “My Hands Are Lifted Up,” and “Set A Fire.” She first rose to fame, dramatically belting out the song “Make Me Over” a cappella from a couch.

Established in 2015 by veteran music industry executive John Chisum to help meet the unique needs of aspiring artists and writers, Nashville Christian Songwriters (NCS) celebrates a decade of music and ministry this year. The Iconic group The Family (formerly known as Kirk Franklin and The Family) is together forever and has returned after 30 years to release an album of nostalgic hits and new songs.  TOGETHER FOREVER is the reunion record of the ’90s multiple GRAMMY, Stellar, NAACP Image, and Dove Award-winning ensemble who took the world by storm.

River Valley Worship announces the release of their brand-new album, First Light / Last Word. The project captures the beauty of God’s divine rhythm from sunrise to sunset through a collection of songs that journey from morning praise to evening reflection.

The album opens with the reverent “Morning Psalm (feat. Ben Cruse)” and concludes with the tender “Evening Psalm (feat. Bella Stebbins)”, embodying the sacred cycle of day and night. River Valley Worship Releases New Album ‘First Light / Last Word’

The album’s closing track, “Evening Psalm,” flows from a heart of gratitude acknowledging God as the source of life, our faithful friend, and provider through every passing hour.

One month after releasing his EP O Amor Que Encontrei — which has already surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify and over 1 million views on YouTube — Brazilian singer Gabriel Guedes presents a bonus track from the project, marking a phase of experimentation in his career with modern sounds such as pop, funk, R&B, and reggaeton.

The new song, Tudo Vai Ficar Bem, is the first official Portuguese version of Be Alright by American singer Evan Craft. The connection between the two artists began in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic, when Guedes posted an Instagram Story singing the song.

“I recorded a story — back then it was still just 15 seconds — and Evan replied asking if I spoke English or Spanish, saying we needed to release this song in Portuguese. It was amazing to share that idea and dream about recording a version for the Brazilian audience. We reconnected later through our labels — Capitol Records, which represents Evan, and Onimusic, which represents me here in Brazil.

They already had a great relationship, and from there came the idea of including this song in my new album. It took four years, but the right time has finally come. I truly believe it happened in God’s timing and that everything is unfolding according to His will,” explains Guedes.

According to Gabriel, the production combines elements from both countries. Evan Craft shared the original stems — including guitars, pads, and effects — while Guedes, alongside producer Abee (who also worked on O Amor Que Encontrei), added drums, bass, and other layers in Brazil.

“I talked to Abee about the sound I had in mind and gave him my references to achieve what we envisioned. I recorded the vocals with Evan in Nashville at Capitol Records Studios this July. That was the first time we met in person. We recorded the vocals and also filmed the music video, which has a very intimate and introspective vibe. My hope is that this song brings peace and refreshment to those who are anxious and in need of calm — that they may encounter the love of Jesus through this music,” says Gabriel.

Born in California, Evan Craft has been involved with music since the age of 12. With 15 albums in English and Spanish and numerous singles, his hit Be Alright was released in 2021 on the album Desesperado, reaching No. 1 on the charts after climbing into the Top 20 in just three weeks. The song featured Danny Gokey and Redimi2, and later gained remix versions with KB and Sam Rivera, as well as a Spanish version with Steven Malcolm.

“Be Alright was originally written in Spanish and became an anthem for people facing chaos and loneliness during Covid. We wrote it for those battling anxiety and depression — people who might have felt unseen by God in their pain. But we know that even in the reality of suffering here on Earth, God is making all things new. Jesus said He is preparing a place where there will be no more pain or tears, and that everything will be alright. We never imagined the song would reach so many, but it’s been amazing to hear how people have found comfort and connection with the Holy Spirit through it,” shares Evan.

Evan says he had long wanted to collaborate with Gabriel.

“I’d wanted to work with Gabriel for a while, but the opportunity was delayed because of the pandemic. Gabriel brought so much life to the song, and I’m so grateful he’s bringing it to Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking communities. His music, influence, and life are an example of faithfulness, and it’s a privilege to work with him. I’m really excited to see the response in Brazil and believe this song will bring comfort in the midst of the chaos and uncertainty we all face as human beings. I’d love to release more songs in Portuguese — I truly admire the musicians, singers, and songwriters there. I think they’re among the best in the world. I’d definitely perform in Brazil if I were invited,” says Craft.

Kingdmusic teams up with Cape Town’s rising singer-songwriter Mégan Rose on “Speed Dial”, a vibrant, faith-filled R&B track. The pair first introduced “Speed Dial” live in Cape Town during Lecrae’s Reconstruction Tour, where the audience instantly connected with the song, singing along and creating an unforgettable moment of unity and joy. Some of those live moments are featured in the upcoming music video.
