Launching her first batch of original music in eight years, “He Will” premiered on SiriusXM The Message, drawing acclaim from both fans and critics alike and swiftly climbing into the Top 40 at Christian radio. Crosswalk called the track “an encouraging message for anyone waiting on God to move,” while JubileeCast lauded the selection’s dual perspective, observing, “The song doesn’t pretend life is easy — it acknowledges uncertainty while declaring that even when we don’t know how God will move, He always remains faithful… If ‘He Will’ is any indication, [Battistelli’s] returning with some of the most personal and hope-filled music of her career.” Furthermore, the beloved singer-songwriter performed a stripped-back version of “He Will” on the milestone 75th episode of SiriusXM The Message’s “Acoustic Storytime with Jason Gray” as part of a special writers’ round, where she became the popular series’ 100th guest artist appearing alongside Gray and Sanctus Real frontman Dustin Lolli.

In the eight years since she released her last album, 2018’s Own It, Battistelli intentionally stepped away from the spotlight to invest in her growing family. The seven-time GMA Dove Award-winning songstress naturally rooted herself in the quiet rhythms of everyday life as she embraced homesteading and homeschooling in the midst of motherhood. Yet, while she was away, the music kept working. She secured another No. 1 at radio, bringing her total to eight chart-topping hits. She amassed multiple RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications, and her catalog crossed 2 billion streams — all without a single new release. The songs simply would not be quiet.
