Sacramento, CA — The Daughters of Christ (D.O.C.) is a four-member female Gospel group consisting of Traycee Fagans, LaTonya McDaniel, Shelia McIntosh, and Petrina Williams Rush.
Each “Daughter” is an active member of the Macedonia Baptist Church of Sacramento, CA where the pastor is Jeffrey Johnson, II. Since forming in 2008, The Daughters of Christ has provided listeners with a melodic blend of traditional “churchy” Gospel arrangements and edgy grooves laced with unique beats and tight harmonies.
D.O.C. released WALKING IN THE F.O.G. (Faith of God) in 2017 and WALKING IN THE F.O.G. (Faith of God) Vol. 2 in 2019. WALKING IN THE F.O.G. Vol 2. features their newest radio single, “Watch Him Work”.
“Watch Him Work” energetically delivers the encouraging message of the Lord’s ability to do the impossible wrapped in an addictive up-tempo grove and tied with a four-stringed bow of powerful vocals.
“Watch Him Work” is available on all digital music outlets and is climbing the BDS radio charts. The song co-writer is super-producer Ivan Johnson (Snoop Dogg, The Dogg Pound), who brings a one-of-a-kind creative ingenuity and artistry to the inspirational styling of D.O.C.D.O.C. also released the official music video for “Watch Him Work”.
The video includes clips of current societal issues, recent problematic cultural concerns, and events plaguing our country. Through their dynamic performance and heartfelt message, D.O.C. offers Christ as the solution to any challenge or life-altering situation.
“We want to remind everyone that God knows what is best for us, and we have to trust God,” D.O.C. expressed. “We can have peace knowing that God can work anything out because there is nothing too hard for God. We have to rest in Him and watch him work!”
