[Music Video] Glória E Aleluia – REVERE
REVERE releases a new single in Portuguese, ‘Glória E Aleluia’, sung by Brazilian worship leaders Nivea Soares and Isaias Saad. The song, originally called ‘Glory Hallelujah’, was written by Gabriel Guedes (previously heard on REVERE’s latest Portuguese single ‘Não Há Nome Maior’) and Mark Alan Schoolmeesters in 2020.
Birthed during a collaborative online writing camp between worship leaders from Brazil, the United States, and the United Kingdom,’Glória E Aleluia’ encourages the Church with the message that our soon and coming King is closer than ever! With their beautiful harmonies and powerful vocals, Nivea and Isaias bring out the Brazilian Church’s creative expression, embodying REVERE’s mission to bring the people of God together to focus on Jesus as we cry out: “Holy, holy, holy are You, Lord Almighty!” and encourage you to elevate and lift up Christ over every circumstance and reality that we face in life.
REVERE is a growing movement focusing on restoring the humble and honoring nature of worship. A generation ago, Christianity went through a massive shift. The formality of corporate worship gave way to ‘intimacy’, and we were forever changed. The ongoing work of the Spirit released us into ‘a spiritual intensity’, but our ultimate longing has always been a weighty encounter in the presence of God that is less about our contribution and more about our surrender. REVERE is a musical journey from intimacy to intensity into the fear of the Lord, where we fall down and cry out: “Holy, holy, holy are You, Lord Almighty.”
