In a historic moment for contemporary gospel music, the powerhouse supergroup FK&M—comprising industry titans Fred Hammond, Keith Staten, and Marcus Cole—has officially released their latest evocative single, “Special.” Arriving as a standout track from their acclaimed Time Capsule series, the song marks a triumphant return to the harmonious, soul-stirring sound that defined an era of urban praise and worship.

“Special” is a masterclass in vocal arrangement and storytelling, blending the trio’s legendary “Commissioned-style” harmonies with modern, polished production. The song explores the profound realization of God’s intentional love, reminding listeners that they are uniquely “crafted and called” for a higher purpose. With its mellow, mid-tempo groove and rich, layered textures, it captures the nostalgic essence of 90s gospel while speaking directly to the hearts of a new generation.
