‘‘King of Glory’’ was birthed during a flight from Kumasi to Accra, where I first received the words, “Here comes the glory of the Lord.” As the song unfolded, other lines came during writing sessions, painting a powerful picture of Jesus in His glory and majesty. Inspired by Matthew 25:31–34, King of Glory is a declaration of the majesty, power, and triumphant return of Jesus Christ. It calls us to behold the King, honour His presence, and live with expectation of His coming.
