In the video, Hawthorne interprets the uplifting message of “His Favorite” in a playful way, taking on the role of a woman selling thoughtfully-curated jars of honey to the local farmers market. Meanwhile, in a voiceover, Hawthorne reflects on how, like honey, life’s blessings can’t be rushed – they take time, care and patience.

Produced by Lil Ronnie (GloRilla, Usher, Britney Spears), the feel-good anthem is the first preview of Hawthorne’s upcoming Big Gospel project, and it brings to life the song’s message of worth, confidence and belonging, showing how those gifts can be passed along to sweeten someone else’s day. The song kicked off a new chapter for Hawthorne that blends the soul of Gospel and R&B with a fresh, modern sound built for a new generation.
