Five-time GRAMMY® nominee and multi-award-winning artist Matthew West is kicking off the new year with a powerful reminder of God’s character. His brand-new single, “Good,” officially released on January 9, 2026, marks the artist’s first musical offering of the year and sets a profound tone of surrender and gratitude for the months ahead.

Known as one of Christian music’s most prolific storytellers, West wrote “Good” alongside longtime collaborator AJ Pruis. The song is a contemplative reflection on the nature of grace, drawing inspiration from the Book of Romans. It explores the transformative shift from striving for worthiness to resting in God’s unconditional love.
