Renowned gospel music minister Tkeyz, widely celebrated for the global worship anthem “Oluwatosin,” has released a powerful new single titled “Baba Modupe,” featuring award-winning Afrogospel trailblazer Gaise Baba.

Baba Modupe—a Yoruba expression meaning “Father, I thank You”—is a heartfelt anthem of gratitude that captures a lifestyle of thanksgiving to God in every season. From “every second, every hour, every day, January to December,” the song emphasizes unceasing praise, acknowledging God’s faithfulness in both good and challenging times.

With deeply reflective lyrics, Tkeyz expresses profound appreciation for God’s constant presence and unfailing love:

“You never ever leave me,
Always fighting for me,
In every season You are there for me.”

The collaboration with Gaise Baba brings a vibrant Afrogospel dimension to the song, blending contemporary sounds with rich Yoruba expressions and relatable street-inspired phrases. Lines like “So many blessings I didn’t see coming, my Father did it for me” and “Jehovah steady cooking, I dey chop am everyday” resonate strongly with listeners, celebrating divine intervention and daily testimonies.

The recurring refrain “Ogbemi soke, kojami kule” (You lifted me up, You didn’t let me fall) reinforces the song’s core message—God’s sustaining grace and mercy through life’s pressures and uncertainties.

Musically uplifting and spiritually edifying, Baba Modupe is more than a song; it is a testimony and a declaration of trust, obedience, and gratitude to God whose works speak louder than words.

With this release, Tkeyz continues to affirm his place as a voice of sincere worship and gratitude, while Gaise Baba’s unique artistry adds depth and contemporary appeal to the message.
