Munday Martin Releases Fourth Single From His Second Album
Munday Martin has released “Bells Of Heaven” today (September 2), his fourth song in a series of singles off his second album which will drop in December 2022.
Munday Martin was promoted as the best up and coming artist in Nashville Tennessee by Nashville‘s biggest rock station recently, and without question is certainly making waves in the Christian and secular music industry with his retro rock vibe reminiscent of the 80s and 90s.
‘Bells Of Heaven’ is a song I wrote as a dialogue from a troubadour traveling and greeting strangers with the word of king Jesus to the youth of today as well as to leaders of nations. -Munday
Martin cleverly used pros and poetry to get his point across. The surf rock nods take you back to the loving sounds of The Beach Boys without being too redundant, and yet has a modern indie rock sound people will love. There’s a certain mysterious darkness the song alludes to “hidden treasures of darkness” (Isaiah 45:3) with a glorious light that is about to break out. This light is the second coming of Christ. It’s an admonition to all that hear it to be ready for Jesus coming as a thief in the night. The lyrics will remind you of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen but with respect is ALL Munday Martin.
Producer John Mark Painter (DC Talk, The Grits, Steve Taylor, Fleming and John) who works on all of Munday Martin’s solo career songs did a phenomenal job on this one. It is definitely one of Munday Martin‘s favorites he has worked on so far.
