“Radical Love” is like a prayer, as the chorus begins: Give us a simple faith / Reflecting Your perfect grace / Shake off these heavy chains / Swing wide the gates.
The chorus goes on to reject the lies and surrender to His will: I lay down my position / Trade in my religion / For Your radical love.
The bridge of the song compels us to both confess and trust the Spirit of the Living God: You are the living water / Your love’s overflowing / Flow like a river through me / You are the pillar of fire / Your Spirit is leading / Shine like a fire in me
