Singer/songwriter Leanna Crawford has released “Still Waters (Psalm 23),” the title track from her long-awaited debut album, set to release July 19th via Provident Entertainment/Sony Music. The album is available for pre-add/pre-save on streaming platforms, along with physical copies (including a signed variation), which are available now on Leanna’s website. Listen to “Still Waters (Psalm 23)”.
Leanna is also partnering with global non-profit organization charity: water for this album release, donating 100% of net proceeds from all pre-orders purchased on her web store to the organization. “It’s charity: water’s goal to provide clean and safe water to the 703 million people living without clean water today and I’m so excited to help support this goal,” shares Leanna.
Leanna has spent the last several years crafting this first album offering, which includes 14 songs like the fan-favorites “Make it Through,” “How Can You Not,” and “Vow To Be Yours”. The track “Still Waters” was teased nearly two years ago via the singer’s TikTok and Instagram, garnering immediate interest from fans and new listeners alike. The message of the song draws from real-life inspiration: “Great-Aunt Maurine said at 103 / Write scripture on your heart for when you need it / ‘Cause anxiety hates Psalm 23 / So just say it to yourself ’til you believe it.”
Leanna’s Great-Aunt Maurine lived to be 103, but in her 40’s she learned that she was going blind. She decided to memorize as much of the Bible as she could before her sight left her. Great-Aunt Maurine led Leanna’s mom to Christ, and that influence has been passed down to Leanna. The official music video for the title track, filmed in Leanna’s home state of Washington, will debut next Friday 5/31.

“It feels absolutely surreal to say that I am releasing the title track to my debut album Still Waters,” shares Leanna. “This song has been so special to me as it was inspired by My Great Aunt Maurine. I got to meet her at 103 years old and even then she could recite almost the entire Bible and she was still impacting people all around her. My hope and prayer with this song is that you will feel peace with these lyrics and be inspired to hold God’s word deeply in your heart.”
Just before Valentine’s Day this year, Leanna released an official music video for the song “Vow To Be Yours”, a song that she surprised NBA player husband Cody Zeller with at their wedding reception. The video includes behind-the-scenes clips and footage from throughout her and relationship, including the wedding.
