Joel Caws Shares Exciting New Version Of A Classic Hymn
Joel Caws, a worship leader and singer/songwriter from the UK has just released a brand new cover version of the classic hymn ‘All creatures of our God and King’.
Joel has been releasing music for over 4 years and this latest release is his first cover of a known hymn or worship song.
Of the new song release, Joel says “I have wanted to release a hymn cover since I started recording songs over 4 years ago. I’m so excited to get this fresh and modern take on this classic hymn out there.”
Of the idea behind creating the song, Joel comments “I had this hymn going round in my head last year around the same time my wife had become interested in the lifestyle of the Franciscan’s, a religious order established over 800 years ago by Saint Francis of Assisi. I was surprised to learn that it was the same Francis that penned the words to this hymn and I knew straight away that this was the hymn that I wanted to cover.”

Of how he hopes others will engage with the song, Joel says “The words to this ancient hymn are incredibly beautiful in their own right and appeal to all ages. It has been an absolute delight to bring this song up to date with a modern feel, plus an ending tag that I was inspired to write as I worked on the song. I pray that those who hear it will be moved to raise an ‘Alleluia’ with those that have sung these beautiful words down through the ages.”
