Joel Caws Releases “In Your Presence”
Joel Caws, a worship leader and singer/songwriter from the UK has just released the first track from his brand new EP, a beautiful and worshipful song titled ‘In Your Presence’’.
Joel has been releasing music for over 3 years and this latest worship song is perfect for congregational use in ministry times or moments of reflection.
Of the inspiration behind the song, Joel says “This song came completely out of a personal worship time at home and I simply can’t stop singing it! It echoes my heart’s cry of a longing to be closer to God daily and to always be moving toward the center of His love and His awesome presence.
We all have moments where we feel distant from God, and this song really points us back to Him”
Of the new song release, Joel says “I’m so excited to release ‘In Your Presence’ which is the first track of my debut EP. I titled this EP ‘Draw Near’ in response to a word God gave me last year about pursuing His heart more fervently and drawing closer to Him. The songs that make up this EP were all birthed out of that time of urgency to be closer to Him.
Of how he hopes others will engage with the song, Joel says “I pray that this song will be a blessing to individuals and church congregations alike. The melody and words are beautifully simple to be a song that anyone can sing whether it be on a solo instrument or with a full band.
My heart’s desire is that others can identify with the ‘heart cry’ of this song and that it blesses and draws them into God’s presence as they sing it.”
