Jason Clayborn & Stephen McWhirter Team Up On “7,000 Promises”
Choir conductor and worship leader, Jason Clayborn, has been expanding his musical horizons of late with high-profile collaborations with the likes of superstar rapper Jack Harlow and Gospel legend, Hezekiah Walker.
Clayborn is continuing to make new musical friends on his forthcoming release, “7,000 Promises” (Tyscot Records) where he’s joined by recovered addict Stephen McWhirter who’s become an influential worship leader over the last decade. On the mid-tempo, acoustic guitar driven track Clayborn and McWhirter recall the Biblical promises of God to mankind. Clayborn’s raspy baritone is the perfect counterpoint to McWhirter’s sandpapery tenor.
The inspiring song builds into an explosion of worship and praise with a thunderous cushion of backing vocals. It promises to satisfy the ears of all who hear it.
