Written by Abigail Markham and produced by Canyon Lewis, “yours.”, the team behind the band’s viral single, “the cost (given for us)” captures the tension between life’s valleys and mountaintop moments. Rather than focusing on changing circumstances, the song centers on an unchanging God whose plans remain faithful in both weakness and breakthrough. Through reflective verses and a soaring chorus, HOMECOMING creates space for worshipers to draw near to God when words are difficult to find.

The lyrics move from quiet dependence to confident surrender, echoing a desire shared by believers everywhere: to know God more deeply. With lines like, “Lord, I want to know You more… I want nothing more than to sing, ‘I am Yours,'” the song transforms a personal prayer into a congregational declaration, making it equally at home in church gatherings, youth worship nights, and personal devotional moments.

Hailing from Vancouver, HOMECOMING has spent the past four years traveling throughout British Columbia, leading worship at youth conferences, rallies, and community events. Along the way, the band has witnessed a growing spiritual hunger among Canadian youth–a generation searching for authentic worship that speaks honestly to both struggle and hope. That passion has become the heartbeat of HOMECOMING’s music, combining contemporary production with lyrics rooted in Scripture and lived experience.

With influences including SEU Worship, UPPERROOM, and Bethel Music, “yours.” is poised to resonate with listeners seeking intimate, Spirit-led worship. Its blend of atmospheric instrumentation, heartfelt songwriting, and congregational accessibility makes it a natural fit for playlists centered around Chill Worship, Modern New Worship, and Worship Study.

As HOMECOMING continues to lead worship across Western Canada, “yours.” stands as a reminder that surrender is not a one-time decision but a daily invitation. Whether in seasons of waiting, moments of breakthrough, or somewhere in between, the song calls listeners to lift their eyes, trust God’s plans above their own, and confidently declare, “I am Yours.”
