Dante Bowe Earns 3 Solo & 2 Group Dove Award Nominations
Multi-platinum-selling performer and award-winning songwriter Dante Bowe has been on a roll since the release of his solo album, circles. From a chart topping single to features on some of this year’s biggest songs, Dante has been part of some of 2021’s most exciting musical moments. That all comes to a head with the new about his three DOVE Award nominations, his first as a solo artist. Dante is nominated as New Artist of the Year, Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for ‘joyful’ and Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year for “Voice of God.” In addition to those solo nominations Dante is also nominated for Worship Album of the Year twice as part of Bethel Music’s Revival’s in the Air and Elevation Worship/Maverick City Music’s Old Church Basement. The 52 GMA DOVE Awards will take place on October 19, 2021, and will air October 22 on TBN.

Earlier this year, Dante released his sophomore album and Bethel Music label debut, circles. The incredibly personal album quickly shot to the top of the charts, debuting at No. 7 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart. The lead single, ‘joyful,’ reached No. 2 on the Billboard Gospel Digital Song Sales Chart and No. 3 on Hot Gospel Songs Chart, making it the highest solo charting position of his career. The follow up single, ‘family tree,’ premiered on BET marking his first televised debut.
