Cory Asbury Covers “You’re Still The One”

Multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY Award nominee Cory Asbury debuts his cover of the country classic “You’re Still The One.” Today’s release is the latest in a string of covers from Asbury, hinting that a covers project might even be in the works.

“Still the One” was one of the first country songs I ever liked. I was just coming out of the “grunge” scene in my “tween” era, listening to bands like Nirvana and Alice in Chains, so the softer tones of Shania’s hit were new to me. Even still, its resonance with my maturing musical palate was undeniable. “Still the One” was, in a way, the gateway drug into the broader country music scene for me. Thank God for Shania. -Asbury
