Chart-topper Lamont Sanders Appears on Multiple Billboard 2022 Year-end Gospel Charts

Former Interscope Records R&B recording artist turned Billboard chart-topping Gospel singer/songwriter, instrumentalist, and philanthropist Lamont Sanders readies for a new chapter as he celebrate his birthday today.

He ended the 2022 year on a high note. His Billboard #1 gospel radio single “He Kept Me” landed on Billboard’s 2022 Year-End Gospel Airplay Songs chart at #4, Billboard’s 2022 Year-End Gospel Airplay Artists chart at #6, and #11 on Mediabase 2022 Year-End Gospel Airplay Labels chart. Additionally, Sanders’ independent record label Bear Tag Entertainment in partnership with radio promotions firm We Break Records appears at #6 on Billboard’s 2022 Year-End Gospel Airplay Labels chart.

Filmed in HD and is directed by Brian Kyle Atkins, Lamont released the concept music video for “He Kept Me” and a live version of the song simultaneously, which is out now! 2022 was a year of monumental firsts for Lamont Sanders. He earned a #1 radio single on the Billboard Gospel Airplay and Mediabase Gospel radio charts, performed on the Stellar Awards show, which aired on BET, and the Avidity Awards where he took home three awards for Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year for “He Kept Me”. On December 24, 2022, the Philadelphia-based artist also released a Christmas digital track and concept music video entitled “The Christmas Song.”
