Anne Wilson Celebrates Album Anniversary With ‘REBEL (Revisited)’

PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson marks the one-year anniversary of her genre-blending Christian country album with REBEL (Revisited).

First released on April 21, 2024, REBEL marked a turning point in Wilson’s career, fusing faith-filled messages with country grit. With REBEL (Revisited), Wilson closes the chapter of the trailblazing record, offering listeners five new takes of fan-favorite tracks that defined the era and solidified her place as one of Christian and country music’s most compelling voices.

“I am so excited to release this special edition of REBEL on the one year anniversary of this album that means so much to me,” shared Wilson. “Since releasing REBEL, life has been such a whirlwind filled with one incredible moment after another. The new deluxe version features a reimagined take of “Rain In The Rearview (Acoustic),” as well as powerful acoustic and stripped-down collaborations including “Praying Woman” (with Lainey Wilson) (Acoustic),” “Country Gold (with Jordan Davis) (Acoustic)” and her No.1 hit at Christian radio “Strong (Acoustic).” Also included is the Church Session version of her latest single, “The Cross (Church Session),” currently in the Top 10 and climbing at Christian radio.

Upon its original release last year, Wilson turned heads from fans and industry alike with her genre-blending debut. GRAMMY.com praised that she “hits the bullseye between contemporary Christian and country twang,” while Billboard lauded her for bringing her “faith-rooted country sound” to life with raw honesty and conviction.

Produced by Jeff Pardo and Jonathan Smith, the project was hailed by People as a “trailblazing album that’s unmistakably both country and Christian, with a faith element in every one of its 16 tracks.” A breakout moment in Wilson’s career, the project earned her first CMT Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year with “Rain In The Rearview” and took home top honors at the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year.

After completing her 27-date sold-out The REBEL Tour late last year, Wilson opened 2025 on the road for WINTER JAM, which recently wrapped its 38-city run in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena to a sold-out crowd on March 23. Wilson will continue to bring her dynamic live show to audiences this summer at Christian and country music’s most buzzed-about festivals before joining Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour for select dates.
