BEC Recording’s Honor & Glory, the worship project started by members of Disciple, releases new music with their full length self-titled album. They previewed the release with last month’s “Jesus We Love You.”
Honor & Glory is comprised primarily of Disciple members Kevin Young, Josiah Prince, Joey West, and Andrew Stanton, with additional support from Dane Allen of LOYALS and Marco Pera of Amongst the Giants. Despite the shared lineup, early outings have proved that Honor & Glory sets are distinct from Disciple’s shows. “The only way you can lead anybody to do anything is by you doing it first,” Kevin explains. “We’re not performing. I’m not trying to be the lead singer of a band. We’re just worshipping.”
LA-based worship leader and songwriter, Tommy Walker, is releasing a new album on March 18th – the third chapter of his Generation Hymns series. Generation Hymns 3 was recorded live in the studio at Bethesda Community Church.
All participating parties, including artists Eileen Walker, Linda McCrary-Fisher, Jerard and Jovaun Woods and The Bethesda Community Church Choir hope the album will bring generations upon generations to worship and connect with God together.
“The album is full of expressions of joy and celebration,” Walker said. “It’s arranged to remind listeners and worshipers of the power of the simple gospel.”
This is the third Generation Hymns project Walker is partnering with Prism Music, a company that creates music products for church music ministries, to provide choral resources. Walker would like to give a huge nod to Ray Jones at Prism Music for encouraging him to go forward with another project.
“The great thing about choirs is they give opportunities for more people in our local churches to be a part of what God is doing!” said Walker.
Generation Hymns 3 was produced by a culmination of ideas. The joyful atmosphere of laughter, creativity and worship gave way to beautiful arrangements and choruses.
From ages 8 to 108, this album will encourage listeners to enjoy singing while absorbing God’s promises and the foundations of the Christian faith. To listen to the album, please visit liinks.co/tommywalkerministries

Better View, Part II from Switch is out now (courtesy of Sony Music/Provident’s Essential Worship). Leading up to its anticipated release, the group dropped singles “Covered” and “Letting Go” earlier this year accompanied by lyric videos.
“This project is special to me because, during the times when I felt the most doubt or had the biggest questions, I felt too ashamed to ask them,” said Luke Guevara from Switch. “My prayer is that these songs create a space for wrestling with doubt, acknowledging uncertainty, and embracing the journey of faith.”
Part II of the Better View project follows the fall 2021 release of Better View, Part I. This project brings a Top 40 sound with a 90’s influence, bridging the gap between pop music and Christian lyrics. As with Better View,Part I, the release and theme of Part II come from the group’s hope that as people listen to the songs, they will gain a better view of God and how much He loves them.
“We are passionate about creating songs that combine a modern sound with the truth of the Gospel, and we wrote this album for anyone who is struggling with questions about their faith, especially students and young adults,” shares Switch’s Cassidy Estevez. “This is the first generation that’s growing up with so much exposure to unfiltered hardships across the world and social media comparison as a part of everyday life. We wrote these songs to help them navigate these difficulties with a faith perspective.”
GRAMMY Award-winning Hillsong Worship shares new music with These Same Skies (Studio). This collection of songs was originally released as a live compilation in November 2021 and was met with critical acclaim. The album is inspired by the Gospel of Matthew and the setting of the historical Sermon on the Mount. “These Same Skies” highlights Hillsong Worship leaders Brooke Ligertwood, Reuben Morgan, Benjamin Hastings, Aodhan King, Chris Davenport and Mi-kaisha Rose.
“Whether in the northern or southern hemisphere, these same skies unite us, all of God’s children, as many as the stars in the sky, just as the Lord promised Abraham,” Hillsong Worship shares on social media. “It is under these same skies that Christ’s church, His body on earth, exists today. Though separated by oceans and borders the mandate of Hillsong Worship continues under these same skies. One in heart and spirit, unified in mission and cause—to glorify the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to build His Church, and to serve His Church with the new song.”
These Same Skies (Studio) is available now to download or stream. The official audio for “Son of David” can be heard below as a preview of the new collection.

Joel Smallbone adds, “The last few years have taken us from wondering what was happening, to worrying. This album was a way to look at and write about — from a family perspective, from a spiritual perspective, and from a global perspective — this global suffering that we’ve all walked through. The debut project from River Valley AGES, Ages, drops today, and one powerful word describes the album’s theme – encouragement. The group created Ages to encourage young believers everywhere to feel like they are able to use their creativeness in a way that builds God’s Kingdom. Listen to the album HERE.
“We want to inspire people,” the group collectively states. “We hope people love the music and that it reaches people around the world. At the end of the day though, the heart behind AGES is to inspire other creatives to keep going. We want the story behind AGES, the music of AGES, and every moment we share to inspire people to follow whatever it is that they are feeling called to, in boldness and faith.”
River Valley AGES is based out of River Valley Church, an inspirational and vibrant church and also the home to River Valley Worship. The church is making a global impact with more than 10,000 weekly attendees at campuses spread across the greater Minneapolis, MN area as well as an international campus in Eswatini, Africa.During the process of creating their twelve-song debut, they were many intentions, such as to use their songs to reach those who do not have a relationship with Jesus, or, those who have negative perceptions of what a relationship with Jesus is. It is their hope to show that a relationship with Jesus is fun, freeing, full of life, and intentional.
River Valley AGES also desires to encourage its youth to tap into their own creativity. “We would love to see the creative culture at River Valley grow,” the group says. “We want to build the base of AGES so that every student on the worship team, serving in production, has dreams of creating to be a part of AGES. AGES is a band, but ultimately, we want it to be a space where people feel at home to use their creativity for Jesus.”
