There have never been and will never be enough words to properly thank Jesus for everything He is to us. ‘This is How I Thank the Lord’ is our honest and simple promise that our worship, our songs, and our lives will be our constant ‘thank you.”
The original track was featured on the group’s 2022 album This Is How I Thank The Lord, which has more than 10.5 million streams life to date. The lead single and title track exclusively debuted at AIR1 and has more than six million streams. The live video (below) was recorded at Mosaic, a church in Los Angeles, CA, and released earlier this summer following the group’s album release.
“I love my friends Mosaic MSC, Amanda, and Joe L and I love this song,” shares Cody Carnes. “It has been on my go-to worship playlist since it was released. In fact, I was listening to it a few times on a plane the morning I got a text asking if I would sing on this new version. I love how beautiful it turned out, and I am very honored to be part of it.”
For the last decade, Mosaic MSC has weaved together people of all backgrounds in a musical tapestry that promotes creativity and individuality. Their message resonates with the masses, resulting in 268 million career streams in more than 65 countries and sold-out global tours with Travis Greene and Chris Tomlin. “This offering was birthed from a very low and challenging time in my life where I felt rejected, forsaken, and unlovable. Through spending time in the Word of God I was reminded of who I am, of who Jesus is, and of how much God loves me, unconditionally. Not because of anything I have done but simply because love is His nature. God is love.” – Nokulunga
Track list
1. Rest
Inspired by the Psalm 62:1
In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, “come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” He says, “take my yoke upon you and learn from me”.
Jesus also likens us to sheep in the Bible and unlike a donkey or a camel, sheep were never made to carry loads so in the same way we were never made to carry our own burdens. That is why
Jesus urges us to take upon us His yoke. For His yoke is easy and his burden is light. I was reminded in these scriptures that only Jesus can give us peace and fulfilment. Regardless of the challenges we face resting in Him is trusting in Him and that is what anchors us through the storms of life.

2. Umbuso
A Zulu word meaning “Kingdom” taken from the Lord’s Prayer – “Your Kingdom come your will be done”.
More than just a prayer this song is a call to action for the children of God. A reminder that the only way for the Kingdom of Heaven to be established here on earth is through us taking a stand, doing the will of the father, and speaking His will into our situations and circumstances. In Genesis 1:28 it says God created man and then gave him dominion over the birds in the air, the fish in the sea and every living creature that moves on the earth.
We have dominion, we have authority here on earth. And we have divine empowerment because the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead resides in us.

3. Lifter of my head
Inspired by Psalm 3
Jesus protects us but more than that He restores us. If we will withhold nothing and bring our full selves to Him, he is a restorer of broken hearts, broken dreams, and lost vision. Nothing surprises God, our missteps and faults do not get in the way of what He has planned for us. Doesn’t matter why you did; He has not changed His mind about You because He knew everything about you before He called and chose you.
4. Everything
This upbeat, fun track really is me just basking in the realization and knowledge that Jesus is everything I need. Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and all these other things shall be added unto you. We spend time chasing all these other things through our own efforts and plans not
realizing that there is a simpler way to lead life. Trusting in Him, resting in Him and loving in a heart-posture of total surrender.

Grammy-nominated artist and worship leader Leslie Jordan releases ‘All That I Need To Know’, a 6-track project collating songs that she helped write and were previously recorded by other artists.
The concept of this new EP shines with Leslie Jordan’s generous heart and open-mindedness. After almost ten years of being a part of All Sons & Daughters, she has been thriving in the writer’s seat since 2017 championing others to carry the songs they’ve written together.
But, as she explains, “occasionally there are songs that stick to me as well […] this is a collection of those songs.” ‘All That I Need To Know’ centers around the message that God is a safe place. Leslie embraces the doubts that come with the unrest we have all been facing since the birth of humanity, but especially in the last couple of years. She shares her journey of discovery that the Lord remains safe and unchanging through it all: “Looking back through my life, I know I can trust who God is,” she adds.
‘All That I Need To Know’ is made up of songs that deal with the nature and character of God; his goodness, consistency, presence, faithfulness, and power, as they are seen throughout scriptures, history and our lives. Each theme is developed on a sound bed of soft and detailed folk, with the artist’s smooth vocals rounding it off. Sonically, Leslie’s desire is for this project to not take up too much room, neither going too high or too low, but for these songs to be “good companions for where you are and where you’re going,” she concludes. With her new project, Leslie also reminds us that if God is a safe place, so should his people be. So should our music be. ‘All That I Need To Know’ seeks to create space for people to exist and belong without demanding anything, but simply allowing listeners to be and be reminded of who God is in the process.
Leslie Jordan – All That I Need To Know is available now.
