Today, multi-talented artist and one of People Magazine’s Emerging Artists Riley Clemmons has announced her long awaited third studio album, Church Pew, will be released on September 22nd via Capitol CMG. The 11-track album, co-produced with Jeff Pardo, marks a season a self-discovery for Riley.
After experiencing depression and burn out brought on by the pressures of being in the spotlight for so long, Riley spent the better part of a year reflecting and finding what brought her true joy.
The resulting body of work follows that journey and demonstrates who she is at her core. Though no stranger to the studio, Church Pew, marks the first time Riley has stepped into the role of Executive Producer.
“It feels as though my entire life has been leading up to the creation of this record” shares Riley. “With that said, this album was born from the lowest and toughest point in my life thus far. During an ongoing battle with depression and anxiety and navigating what felt like a true identity crisis, I took a step back from music and creating to live life.
I was able to pause long enough to rediscover what I loved and resonated with sonically and lyrically, as I began to allow myself the space to naturally evolve, change, and grow. Church Pew sounds and feels like my DNA. I’m ready and excited for everyone to hear this new side of my heart, artistry, and music. This chapter is going to be a special one.”
In addition to new music news, Riley released the third song from the album and its namesake, “Church Pew.” The delicate and powerful song explores all the pivotal moments that happen within a church pew. From funerals to weddings, AA meetings to general services, people hurting and people in joy, the common denominator is a pew which gives everyone a place to belong.
“Church Pew” follows the release of “Loved By You,” which has already surpassed over 1.5 million streams worldwide since its release, and “Miracle,” which is nearing 1 million streams in its first two weeks.

Riley Clemmons is a rising artist from Nashville, TN who has accumulated over half a billion global streams and 85 million YouTube video views since the beginning of her almost decade long career. Denver-based worship collective, Red Rocks Worship, releases their new album Ascend. JD’s musical inspiration comes from both his strong spiritual beliefs as well as the tragedy, trauma, and turmoil of his young adulthood. One song in particular hits home for the singer, as it’s in memory of his wife. “‘God Missed Her Most” (LIVE) is one that I decided to record in memory of my wife Tina, so this song captures the dedication to her memory, says JD. “

Singer, songwriter and guitarist John Dorsch is proud to announce the release of his new album “Elevation” on July 14th (MTS Records).
The album showcases Dorsch’s unique style of folk rock/Americana and is full of vibrant melodies that bring the listener on a journey of music. Dorsch draws on influences from Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Rush, The Beatles, Jerry Reed and Merle Travis to create his own blend of traditional and modern music.
The musical journey features 15 original songs all composed and recorded by Dorsch himself. The album was produced and recorded at JDM Studios and mixed and mastered by Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn Studios in Ottawa, Ontario.
Accompanying Dorsch on African Djembe drum and percussion is his wife, Dani Baribeau, who also contributes harmony vocals. The track “Save Just One More Life” also features Paul Johnson on mandolin and bouzouki, and Bonny Skiffington provides harmony vocals.
Dorsch has been playing electric and acoustic guitar for 45 years and has been drawn to fingerstyle guitar in recent years. He is passionate about playing his instruments with unrestricted flare and blending jazz, pop and rock influences.
His current guitar collection includes a 2018 CGP Maton “808” acoustic, 2018 Gibson J45 acoustic, Manouche “Django” Gypsy Jazz acoustic, Gold Tone “Paul Beard” Resonator acoustic, 2013 Custom Fender Telecaster and 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom electric guitars.
Dorsch’s mission is to put smiles on faces with his music. He has been living in the Rideau Lakes area of Ottawa Valley, Ontario, Canada for many years, drawing inspiration from the peaceful summer nights and the loon songs. He also draws on international travel for songwriting ideas.
