AOH Music Delivers Debut EP ‘Live At Ocean Way Nashville’ On May 12

AOH Music, (vocalist Brianne Nealon, drummer Jimmy Meier, and guitarist/producer Jack Garno) completes its debut EP, Live At Ocean Way Nashville, with the release of the project’s third track, “Light of the World,” on May 12.

Recorded at the historic Ocean Way studios in Nashville and accompanied by a string quartet, the band performed each song live while it was recorded and filmed.

“The Holy Spirit moved within the musicians that night, and it was captured inside those recordings,” the band says. “God created this Earth for us to live and live abundantly, sharing in His overflowing love, grace, and goodness.

He calls us through the Great Commission to be the light of Christ to those around us. Our testimonies have power and allow Christ’s light to shine through in all situations (Matthew 5:14-16). Jesus is the only one who can change hearts and renew minds.

Through Him and by Him all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Out of Christ’s Holiness and Love, He exposes the darkness and makes it known to us. ‘Light of the World’ is a reminder for us to LOOK UP to the Lord in all situations, to turn our eyes upon Him, for Jesus is the world’s light!”

Katie Arrington Releases New EP

Katie Arrington, a rising star in the world of Christian music, has released her EP on all major streaming outlets. The EP, which includes six songs, showcases Arrington’s talent as a singer and songwriter and her deep faith in God.

Arrington’s journey in music started in her youth group and church choir, where she began singing and playing guitar. She started writing her own worship songs at 14 and played them for her local church. After taking a break to pursue her education and start a family, Arrington started leading worship again regularly in 2018.

As she gained confidence as a solo performer, more worship songs flowed out this season as a worship leader.

Despite having no formal music training, Arrington’s experiences leading worship have taught her everything she needs to know about music. Her lyrics are deeply grounded in Scripture, and her style ranges from folk to hymn-like songs.

Matt Redman inspires Arrington as a songwriter, and Audrey Assad’s beautiful, contemplative style of worship songs has also shaped her development as a musician.

Arrington’s first single, “Blessed Is the One,” debuted at No. 2 on CRC Weekly, and “My God, My God” debuted at #1 on CRC Weekly. Three of the songs on her EP received honorable mentions in the 2022 SongDoor competition.

The EP features six songs, including “Blessed Is the One,” “Home,” “Perfect Trinity,” “My God, My God,” “Our Blessed Redeemer,” and “As I Lay Down to Rest.” Each song is closely connected to a passage from the Bible, and Arrington’s lyrics are deeply grounded in God’s Word.

Arrington’s willingness to delve into difficult topics in her music sets her apart from other Christian music artists. Her songs reflect the wide range of emotions captured in the Psalms, and almost all of her songs are directly linked to a passage from the Bible.

Arrington’s music is a source of comfort and hope for listeners.

“I strive to be faithful to share the songs God has entrusted me with,” said Arrington. “My hope is that my music will be a source of comfort and hope for anyone who listens to it.”

Josh Baldwin Debuts Acoustic EP

Today, Bethel Music collective member and Gold-certified singer-songwriter Josh Baldwin has released Narrow Road – Acoustic Sessions, a collection of acoustic versions of songs from his critically acclaimed album Where The Glory Is

The stripped-back and intimate renditions draw focus to the spirit and truth in the lyrics, putting God’s power, holiness, nearness, and passion for His people at the forefront. Since its release, Where The Glory Is, has surpassed 9 million streams in the United States alone. Listen to Narrow Road – Acoustic Sessions

“This acoustic EP is so special to me,” shares Josh. “Playing songs like this, broken down in these acoustic forms, is when I feel like my most authentic self and I think they have become the truest form of me as an artist. Getting to share them in this way is special because, for most of these songs, this is how they were written.

They started just me and an acoustic guitar, so to keep them in that vein and play them in the original way that they came out, feels authentic to me and to the songs. That’s why I’m really excited for people to hear these broken down, raw versions of these songs.”

Josh Baldwin is a songwriter and worship leader who joined the Bethel Music Collective in 2014. Josh is known for his songs “Praises”, featured on Bethel Music’s Have it All, “You Deserve It All”, from his solo project Rivers, and “Stand in Your Love”, a song featured on Bethel Music’s album VICTORY (2019) which reached #2 on the Christian Billboard charts. His latest album, Where the Glory Is (2022), is a reflection of his journey with the Lord and a return to the roots of pure worship.

This album’s lead single, “There Is Freedom”, reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot Christian Adult Contemporary chart and No. 30 on the Hot Christian Songs chart and the album has received over 9 million streams across digital platforms in the US.

He has appeared on numerous Bethel Music albums including VICTORY (2019), Peace (2020), Homecoming (2021), and most recently on Come Up Here (2023) with his song “Time and Time Again”.
