Brooke Ligertwood Drops “Fear Of God” From Forthcoming Solo Album ‘Eight’

Platinum recording artist & GRAMMY® award-winning songwriter, producer, and worship leader Brooke Ligertwood released her first single, “Fear of God,” from her highly anticipated sophomore solo album, “EIGHT.” Available today along with an accompanying music video (premiering at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT), the premiere track is featured on the 11-track studio project that is slated to drop globally on Oct. 20. Listen to “Fear of God”, and preorder “EIGHT.

Says Ligertwood, “I’ve gotten to write so many songs in my life. Maybe a thousand by now? Not sure. Whatever it is, it’s more than I’ve deserved. I like most of them, wince at a whole lot of them (taste changes and skill grows, but the Internet is forever, God help me), and deeply love a good many of them actually. But there’s a small few that I feel an otherness about. This is one of those. I feel like ‘Fear of God’ is one of the songs I was born to leave here, and that’s just that.”

“EIGHT” follows on the heels of Ligertwood’s debut solo offering “SEVEN (Live)” which has garnered over 146 million global streams since its 2022 release. “A Thousand Hallelujahs,” the album’s lead single, has amassed over 25 million global streams, climbed to No. 2 on Multitrack’s Top Songs chart and made four international Top 50 viral charts, including #16 in the U.S. Follow-up single, “Honey In The Rock” has amassed over 94 million global streams.

Along with the aforementioned releases, Ligertwood has penned a growing anthology of beloved church anthems like “What A Beautiful Name,” “King of Kings,” and “Hosanna,” and devotional favorites like “Awake My Soul,” “New Wine,” “None But Jesus,” and many more. With 7 billion career streams and 20 million career album sales, her songs have been streamed globally more than 1.5 billion times, translated into over 15 languages, and have topped the CCLI chart with two no. 1’s, and several Top 25’s.

[Album] Blessed Are They – Brylie Jaye Parker

Independent artist Brylie Jaye Parker is excited to unveil her latest single, “Blessed Are They,” available today on Christian AC and Christian Country radio formats. This soulful track precedes her much-anticipated album, “If They Weren’t Yours,” set for release at the end of August.

Penned by Brylie Jaye Parker herself and masterfully produced by Scott Hoffmann, “Blessed Are They” is a testament to faith, divine blessings, and the ever-present grace of God. Through poignant lyrics, the song seeks to comfort the wounded and assure them of God’s unwavering gaze and understanding.

Brylie’s path in music is a heartfelt narrative. Growing up in a quaint Arkansas town, she was introduced to church hymns from a young age. At just four years old, she inherited a set of guitars from her grandfather, marking the start of a lifelong relationship with music. Throughout her adolescent years and into college, Brylie turned to the guitar for solace, using her talent for singing and songwriting as a means to converse with God.

A defining moment in her musical journey arrived in 2021, when she wrote and performed a song to commemorate her grandfather’s life and legacy. This heartfelt performance caught the attention of a music producer, paving the way for Brylie’s burgeoning music career. Now, alongside her EP “Freedom,” available on all streaming platforms,

She has released two singles, “If They Weren’t Yours” and “I Will Remember.” Her debut album is eagerly awaited by fans and the Christian music community alike.

Cory Asbury Debuts “Misunderstood” From Highly-Anticipated Album ‘Pioneer’

Today, multi-platinum-selling, GRAMMY Award Nominee, Cory Asbury has released a new song from his highly-anticipated fifth studio album, Pioneer. The song, “Misunderstood,” incorporates moving steel guitar and piano, backing lyrics that speak to seasons of anxiety and depression and the outside pressures to be perfect through it all.

This is the third song released from Pioneer, following “Kind” and “These Are the Days” which have both produced millions of streams in the few weeks they have been available.

“A few years back, my wife went through an intense time of anxiety and postpartum depression,” shares Asbury. “She wanted so badly to be “normal” in the middle of it all. I kept having to remind her, “It’s ok to not be ok.” We’re all broken.

Being perfect isn’t the point of this whole “being human” experiment. I hope sharing this experience helps others not feel so alone in their journey to contentment.”

Centricity Music’s singer/songwriter, Billboard Chartbreaker Katy Nichole continues to release songs filled with the unabashed honesty and impeccable artistry that has made the 23-year-old one of Christian music’s fastest-rising talents.

Her current, third radio single from her 2023 GMA Dove Award-nominated Jesus Changed My Life debut album, “Hold On,” tops the MediaBase Christian AC Activator Chart this week. The song follows the album’s Dove Award-nominated songs “God Is In This Story” and RIAA Certified Gold®-selling “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” to radio’s top positions.

The Recording Academy (GRAMMY® Awards) featured “Hold On” and its companion K-LOVE premiered a video highlighting Nichole’s personal story of holding on in her darkest moment. The song points to a bigger picture beyond what you can see in the moment; beyond the pain, beyond the struggle.

“I know firsthand what it means to be broken and desperate,” reveals Nichole. “However, I have also experienced the beauty and wonder of God redeeming and breathing life into situations that seemed utterly hopeless. I want my music to speak truth and shine a light for those going through dark times.”

Along with the radio success, accolades continue to pour in for Nichole, including her becoming the most nominated female artist for the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards.

Her four nods comprise New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (“In Jesus Name (God of Possible)”), Pop / Contemporary Album of the Year (Jesus Changed My Life) and Pop / Contemporary Recorded Song (“God Is In This Story,” a duet with Big Daddy Weave). The GMA Dove Awards presentation will take place Oct. 17 in Nashville and broadcast on TBN Oct. 20.

Sharing her music live for tens of thousands while on tour, Nichole hit venues across the country with Jeremy Camp, Matthew West and others, plus returned to the Opry stage April 4 after making her Grand Ole Opry debut last year. Being featured now on The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, Katy is performing at all the major Christian festivals, fairs and more this summer before rejoining CAIN for a 33-city tour launching Sept. 20 in Baton Rouge, LA.
