Bethel Music’s New Live Album ‘Moments: Wait’ Out Now

Bethel Music announces the release of its highly anticipated live album, “MOMENTS: WAIT.”

Available today with focus track “The Blood (Live)” and corresponding music video, the 13-track project is a compilation of spontaneous corporate worship moments from the internationally renowned collective, with special features including Upperroom’s Abbie Gamboa, and Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson, and more. Listen to “MOMENTS: WAIT” and watch “The Blood (Live)” music video.

Bethel Music’s second moments album, “MOMENTS: WAIT” follows the collective’s 2018 release, “Moments: Mighty Sound” and draws inspiration from the book of Psalms. The theme of this latest project focuses on waiting on the Lord, as evident all throughout Scripture––to sit and wait patiently for Him to come and reveal Himself in all of His beauty.

momentswait

The album’s focus track, “The Blood (Live),” led by Bethel Music’s David Funk, is a song of declaration leading people into a deeper revelation of the transformative and redemptive blood of Jesus while “MOMENTS: WAIT” serves as an invitation to find peace in the moments of waiting, knowing that there is profound beauty and purpose in the stillness.

“The beauty of this album and the concept of waiting is the patience of not knowing or getting the desired outcome right away,” says Funk. “Waiting is an expression that we Love Him and we are here for His purposes, plans and desires… all in His timing.”

Says Bethel Music Co-Founder Jenn Johnson, “This album is so special… there’s nothing like being in the presence of God––to sit and wait on Him with no agenda, not rushing to the next thing, but just simply to come rest and encounter the Lord. My prayer is that this album would help cultivate a beautiful space for people listening to wait on Him and to minister to the heart of Jesus.”

Since forming in 2001, Bethel Music has released 18 worship albums with each carrying a unique theme and featuring some of the most well-recognized artists in the genre. The music collective has broken records, ranking in CCLI’s top 25 songs since 2013. Most recently, “Reckless Love” has appeared in the top 25 since 2018, and “Living Hope” in the top 10 since 2019. Hitting a new stride over the last few years, Bethel Music has continually ranked at #6 in the top 10 radio market share.

Tedashii Drops ‘Dead Or Alive Pt. 2’

Tedashii releases “Dead Or Alive Pt.2” the 2nd EP in his series “Dead Or Alive” that came to life following a traumatic accident backstage on tour that eventually led him to the crossroads of choosing life or choosing death, Tedashii explains on an interview he posted Featuring 5 new tracks, following the release of two singles this year, “IYKYK” and “Pray For Me” ft. Dkg Kie, the EP includes features from Alano Adan, Childlike CiCi, Joey Vantes, 678NATH and many more. Listen to “Dead Or Alive Pt. 2″

September 2023 marked the beginning of a new chapter in Tedashii’s story — a time to tell of the fight for his life as he was faced with the decision to live or to die. In the fight of his life, Tedashii’s project “Dead or Alive Pt. 1” begins to recount the pain and trials he’s battled, leaving a highly-anticipated end of the story. Now, in March of 2023, Tedashii has come through the fire and is singing a different song. One of victory, hope and authenticity. Following the fight for his life, Tedashii is now truly living in the present with the plan to be exactly who he feels called to be.

Stream Full Album below

In the focus track, “Pop Up”, Tedashii vulnerably delivers raps over a peaceful piano melody saying, “I thought nobody cared if Crae and Trip weren’t at the show, but no matter who is with me, He’s the reason that I go.” This is a declaration that Tedashii is no longer doubting his purpose and that there is a reason for him being where he is. “Dead Or Alive Pt. 2” in its entirety displays the fruit of Tedashii’s endurance through the fight for his life and finalizes that his decision has been made. There is no question now: He chooses life.

“This series for me was truly about claiming victory over the enemy. I can recount a handful of times in my life where the devil literally attempted to take my life. By God’s grace I’ve survived and in many cases outside of my own strength been saved. But outside of this, God has shown me that in my day to day I even have the same choice. To live and not to die,” says Tedashii. “I choose abundant life, and I hope the stories I share through this music remind other people that they can make that same choice. I believe that if you wake up and you have breath in your lungs, God is not done with you. What He has for you is good. So chase after it.”

Surpassing four million streams to date, “Dead Or Alive Pt.1” has captivated fans with Tedashii’s storytelling and topical explorations of mental health, struggles with injustice and very real warfare with the enemy as he goes through his healing journey and Pt. 2 is here to tell the rest of the story.

Tedashii explains, “At several points in my own life, I’ve felt crushed under the weight of so many hardships and I’ve even attempted to end it all. It was in that moment I was faced with a choice, to live or die. Dead Or Alive is my journey of choosing to live, while saying to the listener what I said to myself: dead or alive, you decide.”

Now that he has shared his darkest life experiences, Tedashii is motivated knowing he’s still here and God still has a purpose for him. He’s also hopeful that his story will resonate with people who have had a similar experience and encourage them to choose life abundantly as he has.
