[Album] Evergreen – Andrew Ripp
The soulful singer, songwriter, and GRAMMY Award nominee Andrew Ripp announces today’s release of his new LP, Evergreen. Featuring his No. 1 single “Jericho,” the powerful anthem that continues to deeply connect with audiences around the world, Evergreen was produced by Ethan Hulse, a three-time GRAMMY Award nominee and longtime writing partner of Ripp’s. The album is the follow-up to Ripp’s 2018 release The Heart & The Soul.
Evergreen was inspired by a photo that Ripp’s sister-in-law Ashley posted from New York a few days after quarantine began. Posting a picture of the snow-covered pines at her cabin in the Catskills, over the photo was written, “I wonder if I’ll ever go back to Brooklyn.” To Ripp, her statement unraveled a new inspiration that turned into a new album. Through its songs, you can hear the emotional rollercoaster of uncertainty, making Evergreen an album full of honesty and relentless hope in these wildly uncertain times.
To celebrate the album’s release, be sure to tune in tonight when Ripp will appear on his socials at 7pm CT for “Live From My Living Room” where he’ll share some songs and stories from the new project. Click here for more info.
Earlier this week, Ripp made his Grand Ole Opry debut, pictured here, where he performed “Jericho” and “Rejoice.” He will be able to share these songs and more live when he embarks on Tauren Wells’ Citizen of Heaven 23-city tour this fall. For the latest touring information, visit his tour page.
