Afrobeats Worship Shares New Project
Afrobeats Worship’s new project, “Afrobeats Worship Vol. 1” was born as the exploration of connecting worship and Afrobeats music.
The band – made of Kanjii Mbugua and Rashon Murph – hopes to create music that reaches a younger generation in the West and magnifies native sounds in the African Church. This new EP harnesses their mission with new energetic interpretations of influential church songs.
They uniquely tap into the fastest-rising trend of the global music landscape, forging worship that serves people right at the heart of their culture. Afrobeats Worship’s key message with this EP is that God created beauty in all of creation, everywhere. “This is our way of sharing some of this beauty,” concluded Kanji.
