[Music Video] Come Home – Tauren Wells

Ten-time GRAMMY nominee Tauren Wells returns with a new single – “Come Home.” Against an ominous, beat-heavy backdrop, Wells takes an unflinching look at the harm done by hypocrisy. In the gritty, soulful call-and-response chorus, he offers an alternative, envisioning home as a place of steadfast, unconditional love. Listen HERE. The track, which was produced by Tedd T, is from Wells’ new album, Joy in the Morning, which is set for June 10 release.

In the official video for “Come Home,” a one-shot, continuous take live performance with full band, Wells roams the rooms of a beautiful yet deserted house. Performing the song with raucous urgency, he rips the coverings off the furnishings and, along with his bandmates, infuses the home with life once more. Directed by Micah Bickham (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande) and Steven Lester (John Mayer, Needtobreathe), the video was shot in Nashville.

On May 29, Wells will co-host the KLOVE Fan Awards with Matthew West at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. On August 5, he will headline the second night of KLOVE’s multi-artist concert at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Get tickets for Red Rocks HERE.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard on “The First Noel”: “This song kind of brings up a holiday memory. When I was younger, my aunt would take a group of kids from our church. So it was our youth ministry, honestly. And we would go caroling from house to house. You don’t see that that often now, but this kind of takes me back to that memory of caroling from house to house.”

Tauren Wells on his version of “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays”: “I love the groove of the song. You can tell that the guys in NSYNC were just having a lot of fun with it. But we slowed it down in my version a little bit, changed the pocket up a little bit, so you really feel of groove to it. I love music that has that pocket, that groove and rhythm to it that just gets you moving, gets your head bobbing, and really gets you in the feeling for the season.”

Tauren Wells Creates Dream Engagement For Fan At Cracker Barrel

Earlier this summer, the Care It Forward program by Cracker Barrel was launched to help amplify care and connection. As part of this initiative, Cracker Barrel also partnered with musical artists to help lead by example with small and large acts of care. We were able to talk with CeCe Winans, and her mentee, Tauren Wells, about their participation in the program.

Singer and Care It Forward partner Tauren Wells helped one special fan create the ultimate proposal moment. Josh Rivera and his girlfriend, Rebekah Facciuto, met at Cracker Barrel on Sept. 21, 2020, in a chance encounter. After meeting on the restaurant’s front porch, the pair decided to have lunch together and the rest, as they say, is history. The video of the proposal can be found HERE, on Josh’s Facebook page along with the cover photo of Tauren and the happy couple.

Since music is a major shared interest for the couple, Josh’s dream proposal was to have the couple’s favorite singer, Tauren Wells, perform their favorite song at Cracker Barrel where they met, and he reached out to the restaurant on a whim. Cracker Barrel jumped at the chance to care it forward and worked with Tauren to make this couple’s dream come true.
