Nigerian born Urban Gospel rapper and singer, Sam Jamz comes through with Spanking new single, “Play Myself“.
Play Myself, a chill, Afrobeat song is based on Sam Jamz’s convictions to not conform to the fleeting desires in the world but rather fix his gaze on Christ.
Produced by Paragon, Mixed and Mastered by Osadebey, Play Myself is a follow-up to Sam Jamz’ EP, GPS which was released at the tail end of 2020.

After releasing his first EP (HINT) on Good Friday, award winning Nigerian rapper Sam Jamz is back with another body of work and this time he calls it GPS – God’s Perfect Synchrony.
The title of this new project may seem somewhat ambiguous but according to Sam Jamz “The safest place to be is right in the centre of God’s plan for your life. Find out about God’s Plan for you and be in sync with it!”
On GPS, Sam Jamz teams up with Protek Illasheva, Marizu, Kelly Lyon and Esta on the 4 track EP with production from HotBoi, Prince Davids, Kelly Lyon and Osadebey.
2020 has indeed been a huge year for Urban Gospel Music not just in Africa but in the world at large. No doubt, the GPS EP has put Nigerian Urban Gospel Music on the map for this new era.
