Little Rock, AR —  Musicality, passion, talent, and resilience are all attributes of singer and musician Robert Jones.  As a youth, his talent and anointing emerged, and he became part of the Stellar Award-winning group Anointed By God.  He is now a solo artist and is offering his first Christmas single.

Robert’s holiday single is one of the best-loved Christmas classic tunes, “The Christmas Song”. 

“I recorded this song because it’s one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs,” Robert states.  “Since I am a musician, I have always loved Nat King Cole. Growing up, I would play many of his songs on the piano.  Recording this song brought back so many memories of me as a young child playing this song by the Christmas tree.”

“Christmas means so much to me,” Robert expresses.  “This season is about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, but also it means family time. My childhood memories of Christmas are sitting by the fireplace, drinking eggnog, and singing carols. It was a time to cherish those simple moments with family.”

Robert recently won the 2022 Gospel Choice Music Award for Contemporary Artist of the Year and received two 2022 Kingdom Image Awards nominations for Best Male Vocalist and New Artist of Year.  He is a pianist and worship leader at The Edge Church in Little Rock, AR, and continues inspiring youthful minds and dreams as a full-time elementary school teacher.

“I Still Believe” is a ballad of hope to those who may become weary in well-doing and need to re-ignite the fire of belief.  The song is produced by Tyries Rolfe and co-written by Robert and Rolfe.  The single will be on his forthcoming album, with Grammy Award-winning producer Cedric Thompson producing.  Thompson is the hit-maker behind some of Gospel’s elite artists – Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, John P. Kee, Karen Clark-Sheard, and more.
