Singer-songwriter Jlyricz invites British Christian recording artist Shimon Atunde to join him on the release of his single titled “Drown (Remix).”

Drown which was received to very positive acclaim on different platforms was released towards the end of 2021 but this release offers another beautiful spice to an already amazing song. Shimon Atunde delivers a stellar verse on the record with his soothing vocals to add an extra topping to the record.

Drown (Remix) is a song that talks about God’s love and the desire to get drenched in it, it’s a song every Christian can relate with.

Christian music recording artist Jlyricz continues the tradition of releasing songs to celebrate his birthday with the release of his brand new single; the praise banger “Doh.”

Doh (which means Thanks in Urhobo language) is a Christian Afropop/Dancehall tune.  Concerning his new offering Jlyricz says “It is my birthday song and is a dedication to God for how He has preserved me to this point. I know how far He has brought me and I know I can’t thank Him enough but I will keep trying.”

Doh is written, arranged, and composed by Jlyricz while long-term collaborator E-Mex handled the production.

Jlyricz is currently working on his first official body of work since the release of 2020’s The Banquet and the release is slated for the last quarter of the year.

Nigerian singer-songwriter Jlyricz is back with a brand new single; Never Die.

Fresh off dropping the groove-heavy Highlife tune Nnuku Nna last month, prolific Christian recording artist Jlyricz returns with a brand new single “Never Die”, a hard-hitting yet chill tune that deals with salvation, the narrow path and eternal glory.

On the new R&B/Pop song Jlyricz says  “Never Die is a Christian Pop/R&B song that talks about a Christian’s victorious life on earth and the joyous experience that awaits in the afterlife. The song is built on verses like John 6:51, Psalms 23:6, 1 John 5:4 etc.”

The first single of the year which promises to be one of plenty of music to share according to the Christian recording artist is a thanksgiving tune packed with praises and boasts dedicated to The Almighty; “Where they at, tell me where they at? Those wey say I go fail where they at?”, sounds like someone trying to rub God’s victory in the faces of his enemies.

The groovy tune is written and composed by Jlyricz while his frequent collaborator E-Mex helms the production.

The prolific songwriter who has been on an impressive run since the end of 2020 says his goal this year is to create music, share and have at least 5 million listeners listen to at least one of his songs before the end of December. He says he hopes to reach more lives and enrich more souls for the kingdom this year.

Jlyricz has been on a prolific run through 2021; Inside makes it single number 12 for 2021 and it is another beautiful offering. “I wrote Inside at a point in my life when I was so eager to “blow”, I was homeless and I needed funds to get me an apartment and a decent life. Music was all I had and I figured it had to come from there; I just had to blow even though I had no concrete budget to push my songs. I couldn’t even afford to rent a small apartment. After a while I started questioning my motive for saving God; is it because of what He would give or because I truly loved and revered Him as my personal savior. If I get what I need, will I still serve Him with everything I had? Those thoughts birthed the song “Inside”.

The single’s video is a dashing creative masterpiece with an intricate story of the song woven in it. The video is directed by Bishopwhythe Visuals.

Nigerian Christian recording artiste Jlyricz continues with his prolific run which has seen him release new music every single month of the year so far. His new single “Dike” which means Hero in Igbo language is a smooth and soothing tribute to the Almighty and is as vulnerable as anything you would hear from a song which he says is from actual life experiences. 

“I have held on to this song for a while now and was weary about releasing it because I don’t know how it would be received by listeners, especially those close to me who actually know what I am talking about. Dike is my most personal song till date and I tried not to make the lyrics too obvious but I’m not sure I did a great job about that. I just know I love this song and it’s very close to my heart and I pray it helps anyone who might be in the same situations as I was. That’s all I ask for concerning Dike.”
