[Download] That’s The Power (Live at Team Night) – Hillsong Worship

GRAMMY Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling Hillsong Worship release That’s The Power (Live at Team Night) off latest album “TEAM NIGHT (LIVE).”

After two years apart due to global border closures, the worship collective had the opportunity to finally reunite in Orange County, Calif. at the start of 2022 and gather together to do what they’ve always done – worship. The culmination of that gathering produced the 10-track compilation that features a special collection live recorded songs including versions of well-loved tracks from the Hillsong Worship catalog such as “That’s The Power,” “Waiting Here For You,” and “Hope of the Ages,” among others.

Tapping recognizable names like Brooke Ligertwood, TAYA, Aodhan King, and more for song features, the project launches alongside video components for each song.

VERSE 1:
There’s a Name that levels mountains
Carves out highways through the sea
I’ve seen its power unravel battles
Right in front of me

There’s a faith that stands defiant
Sends Goliath to his knees
I’ve seen as praise unravelled shackles
Right off my feet

CHORUS:
That’s the power of Your Name
Just a mention makes a way
Giants fall and strongholds break
And there is healing

That’s the power that I claim
It’s the same that rolled the grave
There’s no power like the
Mighty Name of Jesus

VERSE 2:
There’s a hope that calls out courage
In the furnace unafraid
The kind of daring expectation
That every prayer I make
Is on an empty grave

BRIDGE:
I see You taking ground
I see You press ahead
Your power is dangerous to
The enemy’s camp

You still do miracles
You will do what You said
For You’re the same God now as
You’ve always been

Your Spirit breaking out
Your kingdom moving in
Your victory claims the ground that
The enemy had

You still do miracles
You will do what You said
For You’re the same God now as
You’ve always been

VERSE 1:
You’re turning over tables
And calling for return
To our lives upon the altar
The things we did at first
You’re clearing out the temple
You’re cleaning out the dirt
For we are Your territory
Lord we are Your Church

CHORUS:
We are Your people
You are our God
We are Your temple
Make us holy like You are

VERSE 2:
You see a holy nation
A flock to consecrate
A chosen generation
A people called to pray
So help us God to please You
Where only You can see
For every moment matters in eternity

CHORUS 2:
We are Your people
You are our God
We are Your temple
Make us holy like You are

We are Your children
You’ve set us apart
God for Your glory
Make us holy like You are

BRIDGE 1:
Mark Your people with Your presence
Make us a place where You delight to dwell
May we heed Your hand’s correction
Oh Lord our Shepherd
You do all things well

Your love as firm as it is tender
Your law is perfect
And Your judgments true
As we run to resurrender
You will restore what we return to You
You are restoring as we yield anew

BRIDGE 2:
If You’re calling
We’re coming
We’re not walking
We’re running
God we need resurrender
We resurrender

Hillsong Worship Withdraws From Planned US Tour

GRAMMY Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling Hillsong Worship has announced their withdrawal from a planned cross-country arena tour with Casting Crowns and We The Kingdom that is set to kick off later this month. Their withdrawal comes in the wake of some “difficult days” at Hillsong Church, per the band’s official statement (which you can read in full below). Hillsong Church co-founder Brian Houston recently resigned from his role as Global Senior Pastor amidst complaints of misconduct involving two women.

In response to the tour announcement, Casting Crowns and We The Kingdom offered this message on social media: “Our prayers are with the Hillsong Church as they walk through a really tough season. Hillsong Worship is staying home and loving their people through tough times. Casting Crowns & We the Kingdom are moving forward to encourage people on the road.” For the latest tour itinerary and to purchase tickets, visit PremiereProductions.com.

Hillsong Worship full statement (4/6/22):

With the generous and gracious support of our friends and partners Casting Crowns and Premier Productions, Hillsong Worship has asked to be withdrawn from the upcoming Casting Crowns/Hillsong Worship tour with We The Kingdom. Whilst we are deeply disappointed to have to make this difficult decision, we do feel that is the right one at this time in our history and the decision that, for us, requires the most faith.

Uniquely, Hillsong Worship is not and has never been a band. We are an extension of and expression of Hillsong Church – a collective of our local church worship teams. All of us are either on staff at Hillsong Church or volunteers at our local campuses. Right now, our church is walking through some difficult days and navigating significant change. Our community is hurting but hope-filled. With the full support and endorsement of our senior church leadership, we believe the decision not to go on tour this  month is the one that puts the health and well-being of the people of our team first. Now is the time for us to humbly seek the Lord, to grieve in hope and to heal in community, together.

We are devastated to have to withdraw from this tour we have been planning and praying into for over a year, to let down our friends Casting Crowns, We the Kingdom and Premier Productions who mean the world to us, and to let down all of you who were planning on coming. We are so sorry. We would love to encourage you to hold onto your ticket and head along to these nights which are going to be so full of life, joy and encouragement in God’s presence. We know you will be ministered to deeply by the Lord through our friends Casting Crowns and We the Kingdom, who are absolutely incredible.

God bless you all. We truly look forward to worshipping with you again and celebrating what the Lord has done in our midst as we fully surrender to His will and purposes. – Hillsong Worship

GRAMMY Award-winning Hillsong Worship shares new music with These Same Skies (Studio). This collection of songs was originally released as a live compilation in November 2021 and was met with critical acclaim. “Whether in the northern or southern hemisphere, these same skies unite us, all of God’s children, as many as the stars in the sky, just as the Lord promised Abraham,” Hillsong Worship shares on social media. “It is under these same skies that Christ’s church, His body on earth, exists today. Though separated by oceans and borders the mandate of Hillsong Worship continues under these same skies. The album is the first Hillsong Worship project recorded entirely stateside (in Orange County, Calif.), and is inspired by the Gospel of Matthew and the setting of the historical Sermon on the Mount. “These Same Skies” highlights Hillsong Worship leaders Brooke Ligertwood, Reuben Morgan, Benjamin Hastings, Aodhan King, Chris Davenport and Mi-kaisha Rose.

“It is under these same skies that Christ’s church–His body on earth–exists today,” says Ligertwood. “And–though separated by oceans and closed borders–the mission of Hillsong Worship continues under these same skies. One in heart and spirit, unified in mission and cause–to glorify the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to build His Church, and to serve His Church with the new song.

Adds Ligertwood, “We pray and believe that all of our labor sown in faith will mean a harvest for God’s glory, and we pray something that really blesses you and helps you to encounter Jesus in a fresh way in this season.”

[Music Video] That’s The Power – Hillsong Worship

GRAMMY Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling Hillsong Worship, announces the release of their latest single, That’s The Power (feat. Benjamin Hastings).” Available today, the song is the second track to drop from the group’s forthcoming live album “These Same Skies” and includes the extended worship track “That’s the Power (Reprise) [feat. Benjamin Hastings].” The highly anticipated compilation is slated to release worldwide on November 5, and is available now for preorder.

“I’m reminded with this song, that the Power in the Name of Jesus isn’t threatened by the power of the enemies camp, it’s in fact the other way around!,” says Hillsong Worship’s Alexander Pappas. “The power of the name of Jesus is both dangerous and the final say to all the enemies plans. We have access to the same power that raised Christ from the dead and I think that is a profound statement that we as the church should never tire of declaring.”

Pappas continues, “My prayer is that this song would be a weapon for the church. A weapon to be used in the triumph and employed in the trials. A song for your situation and a declaration over those we stand in the gap for. I cannot wait to hear some of the testimonies of breakthrough as faith is stirred and worshippers rise up.”

This recent release follows the group’s latest singles, “Never Walk Alone (feat. Mi-kaisha Rose)” and “Hope of The Ages” with Hillsong’s Reuben Morgan and two-time GRAMMY nominated Cody Carnes. Since its August debut, the collaborative “Hope of The Ages” track has garnered more than 1.1 million global streams.
