“Joy Comes in the Morning,” the much-anticipated new album from Beauty Obodo is finally out and available on all major music streaming platforms worldwide.

The new project marks the first new album from the Contemporary Nigerian gospel singer-songwriter in 5 years following her sophomore LP “My Hallelujah Praise” which dropped in 2018.

“Joy Comes in the Morning” is an uplifting 14-track collection featuring songs of worship, adoration, affirmation, praise, and thanksgiving. It includes previously released singles such as the widely-received ballad “Teach Me Your Path (Help to Me to Love You),” “I Thank You Lord” and “Gracious God (ft Moses Swaray), as well as brand new songs sure to be a blessing to listeners.

According to Beauty Obodo, the new album’s inspiration is anchored on the scripture Psalm 30:5 which highlights that “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”  

Each song on the project carries a unique message reassuring us of God’s overwhelming love and perfect will for us. It’s also a tool for inspiration for anyone in difficult times.

Contemporary gospel singer and minister, Beauty Obodo celebrates her birthday (Jan 20) with the music video premiere for her well-received single “I Thank You Lord,” as she expresses deep gratitude and thankfulness to God for His faithfulness through the years.  The song which was featured as an additional track on “A New Thing,” – the re-branded and re-released version of her debut CD, will also be included on her upcoming new album.

Delivered in multiple languages including Urhobo, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, and English, “I Thank You Lord,” is a mid-tempo tune that will definitely inspire you to Thanksgiving. The uplifting track produced by Chika Ahuche of Chykeyzpro Music Production was first sung at the RCCG’s 77hour messiah marathon in February 2019.

Directed by Ben Jossy, “I Thank You Lord” video marks Beauty Obodo’s first effort for 2022. It promises to be a great year for the Nigerian music minister who has hinted at a few more releases before her new album finally drops.

Contemporary gospel singer-songwriter, Beauty Obodo has premiered the official video to her declarative single “I Shall Live”. The song was released in April 2020 at the peak of the global pandemic and lockdown, releasing the spirit of faith into the atmosphere and counteracting fear in the hearts of many with faith-inspired declarations of God’s words and promises to us.

According to the music minister, “I Shall Live” is a declaration of God’s Love as an assurance of protection against sicknesses, diseases, and any form of evil. The track is produced by Chika Ahuche of Chykeyzpro Music Production.

Beauty Obodo’s passion for God and her worship of Him continues to be an inspiration to many and reflects on the depth of her highly inspirational and spirit-lifting songs. Earlier this year, she teamed up with Liberian-born worshiper Moses Swaray for a new single titled “Gracious God,” which was well-received with great reviews and testimonies, and is still a blessing to many globally.

“Gracious God” is a praise-worship song that celebrates the gracious nature of God. The track produced by Chika Ahuche of Chykeyzpro Music Production highlights powerful vocals from the duo ‘Beauty Obodo and Moses Swaray’ as they express God-dependency and exaltation of God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Not new to those who have recently been under Beauty’s ministrations, “Gracious God” is quite becoming an anthem on the lips of some already, which heightened the anticipation for this official release.
