Powerhouse vocalist and songwriter and “The Voice” season 9 winner Jordan Smith has released a new song, “Battles,” available now. It is also accompanied by a live performance video, which can be viewed here and below.

Smith shares, “I wrote ‘Battles’ with two of Christian music’s best – Jonas Myrin and Ed Cash. The message at the heart of the song is one of confidence – not in who we are or what we can do – but in the faithfulness and power that God has shown throughout each of our stories.”

Jordan Smith has a voice that needs no introduction and with faith that needs no explanation. From the moment the Kentucky native was first introduced to America through “The Voice,” it was evident that his faith was part of his DNA. And now his beliefs take center stage as he has stepped into the next natural chapter of his career with new songs and joined with his new label family, Provident Label Group.

It was earlier this year that Smith released his label debut “Great You Are,” a song that is the pinnacle of everything Smith has ever wanted to do. “Connecting people to God just feels natural, and it feels free, and it feels easy,” he admits. “I want people to experience the Holy Spirit. I want them to be uplifted, and I want them to feel God’s love and His acceptance through my music, even if they don’t know what that is, even if they don’t understand that’s what they’re experiencing. My lifelong dream is to be able to make music for the church and to just experience heaven with people.”

TRIBL releases the official music video for “Still Holy” featuring Ryan Oféi & Naomi Raine.

This new music was written by Morgan Saulsberry, Aaron Roberts, Will Thomas, Zinzile Sibanda, Ryan Oféi, Brandon Lake, and Jonathan Jay. “Still Holy” is the first single to be released from the forthcoming album titled Tribl I, which is set to drop June 11.

The live video was captured in Atlanta, GA during a live worship night earlier this year (April).

“All Around,” the latest single from The Rock Music (DREAM Records)—a collective of singer/songwriters and worship leaders from Salt Lake City’s The Rock Church—is now available. Featuring worship leader Steele Croswhite, the joyful anthem celebrates the omnipresence of God and encourages listeners to embrace the beauty He has bestowed through nature, human relationships and the Church. 
 
Penned by Croswhite, along with Randal Topper, Joseph Young and Thomas Scribner, and produced by Nate Pyfer, “All Around” was inspired by Philippians 4:8. “With so much uncertainty in our world, troubling news, and division that can easily bog us down, it’s so easy to fix our minds on things that are not admirable, not lovely or not excellent,” Croswhite explains of the song’s meaning. “The Philippians verse challenges us to fix our eyes on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely and admirable; to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
 
“If we stop to consider this, we find God’s amazing love all around us,” Croswhite adds. “We recognize His love in creation, in our relationships, in the Church, through the grace of Christ, and in the Father’s love and the fellowship of the Spirit. His love is truly all around, we need only to stop and realize it.”

For nearly two decades The Rock Music has been dedicated to writing, recording and performing Christ-centered music without compromise. The collective—helmed by singer/songwriter, worship leader and pastor Steele Croswhite—has released 13 full-length recordings and seven EPs. He drifted from his Christian upbringing, lured by the trappings of fame and reeling from his father’s untimely death. Encouraged by his sister to visit The Rock Church, it was there Croswhite experienced the true grace of Jesus Christ and rededicated his life to the Lord. Today, he serves as a pastor and worship leader at the church.
