Malawian RnB Christian singer, Beracah has just released his first offering of 2021, a single titled ‘Ndineneko’.
The artist describes the single as a song after his own heart. “It is a declaration of my life purpose, and why I make music”, Beracah explains. With that, he enlisted frequent production collaborator Manifest, to give the song the much-needed fusion between traditional but yet modern instrumentation.
“Ndineneko is different, and my hope is that this song ignites a flame in anyone who listens to it. I hope it reminds them of where their coming from and realigns and affirms them with whatever path they are on because God has been too good to you”.
Beracah is an RnB gospel singer, songwriter. His passion for music stems from within his family with influences coming from his singing father Peatry green Ntodwa and his uncle Rueben Chongwe from the Makasu band. His passion is driven by his love for making music as well as his faith as a born-again Christian.
As an artist, he wants to establish an uncompromised RnB soul sound blended with an African touch that will carry an impactful message. Beracah has since released 2 EP’s, “Inside Out”, and its follow up, “Inside Out Unplugged”, which has the hit songs ‘Yesu Wanga’ and ‘Chifupi Nanu’.
The audio of “Ndineneko” is available for free download on all local music websites, and available for streaming on Deezer, Spotify, and Apple Music/
Acclaimed songwriter, pastor and worship leader Nathaniel Bassey offers visuals for “Hunger For You” an awesome track off his latest album, Hallelujah Again.
In this soul-lifting song “Hunger For You”, Bassey speaks about his yearning for God’s awesome presence in his life. It’s indeed an inspiring worship song!
Speaking about the song, Nathaniel Bassey pens down; “Spiritual HUNGER is a Blessing! Hence Paul cried out, I WANT TO KNOW HIM! This is after so much revelations already. He never lost hunger for God. Many misunderstand the concept of hunger or thirst for God. They say stuff like, but you were filled before. Why thirst and hunger again. Well, that’s because of the God to whom we have been called. He is inexhaustible. The more you have Him, the more you NEED to have Him. Hunger then becomes that drive and psi on for Him. Even in the natural, when one is sick, they lose appetite and hunger for food. To not hunger for more of God is also a sign of spiritual lethargy. It’s a daily need. Just as we hunger and eat daily. Hence Jesus says GIVE US OUR DAILY BREAD. On one occasion the word says the Apostles were all FILLED. Another time, it says they were again filled. May we never lose hunger for God.”
Nathaniel Bassey latest album “Hallelujah Again” is a power-packed project that moves in-line with Revelation 19:3, which says; “And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.” Available now for streaming and downloading.
Ellie Holcomb releases a new song, “Mine,” from her forthcoming album, Canyon, which releases on June 25th. Along with this poignant song about a parent’s love and the reflection of God’s love for His children, a personal music video debuts today featuring Holcomb’s three children and husband. This is also the first song that her husband, Drew Holcomb (of Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors) has recorded for one of her albums.
“I wrote this song with Hank Bentley and Mia Fields after a conversation with them about how God is always with us and how the heart of a parent reflects; however imperfectly, the heart of the Father,” explains Ellie Holcomb. “He’s been with us the whole time before we ever took a breath. God is the perfect father, and when I fail as a parent this is such a sweet reminder for me, that God is still my father as I mother my children, and He’s still their perfect heavenly father, holding them and taking such good care of them, even when I parent imperfectly. This song is also special as my husband, Drew, joins me. He would tear up every time he heard this song, and it felt like the most natural thing to ask him to sing with me. His voice sounds incredible, and I hope this will forever be a treasure for our kids to hear both their mom and dad singing this over them.”
Previously released songs from the upcoming album include the title track, which already has more than 1.7 million global streams, and the radio single, “I Don’t Want To Miss It,” which was her largest career add date and has 30 stations already spinning the song with major markets like SiriusXM, St. Louis, Portland, Bakersfield, New Orleans, Greensboro, and Chattanooga.
Powerhouse vocalist and songwriter and “The Voice” season 9 winner Jordan Smith has released a new song, “Battles,” available now. It is also accompanied by a live performance video, which can be viewed here and below.
Smith shares, “I wrote ‘Battles’ with two of Christian music’s best – Jonas Myrin and Ed Cash. The message at the heart of the song is one of confidence – not in who we are or what we can do – but in the faithfulness and power that God has shown throughout each of our stories.”
Jordan Smith has a voice that needs no introduction and with faith that needs no explanation. From the moment the Kentucky native was first introduced to America through “The Voice,” it was evident that his faith was part of his DNA. And now his beliefs take center stage as he has stepped into the next natural chapter of his career with new songs and joined with his new label family, Provident Label Group.
It was earlier this year that Smith released his label debut “Great You Are,” a song that is the pinnacle of everything Smith has ever wanted to do. “Connecting people to God just feels natural, and it feels free, and it feels easy,” he admits. “I want people to experience the Holy Spirit. I want them to be uplifted, and I want them to feel God’s love and His acceptance through my music, even if they don’t know what that is, even if they don’t understand that’s what they’re experiencing. My lifelong dream is to be able to make music for the church and to just experience heaven with people.”
