Sam Bowman Releases ‘Legend Of Max’

Sam Bowman drops new EP Legend of Max today on DREAM Records.  Available everywhere music is digital sold, the song was both produced and written by Sam Bowman.  The 5-song EP is the culmination of a string of digital singles leading up to the release with his new song “Daybreaker” also releasing today.

“God is a God that wants us to know Him. Not only do we get to know Him through His world that He made, but we also get to know through His Word. Psalm 19 depicts Christ as the one who, like the sun brings light to a dark planet, brings light to dark hearts. That’s worth celebrating!” – Sam Bowman

Featuring songs like “Your Eyes” and “Oh Wonder”, the EP has already received solid support with retailers having landed on Spotify’s All New Christian & Gospel and Pop for Life, Apple Music’s New In Christian, Amazon’s Rogue and Christian Alt, and Tidal’s Get Uplifted: Christian Pop & R&B.  Sam shares the story behind the EP.

Legend of Max’ is named after my dog, Max- and for the title of a whole EP, that’s not a super crazy backstory, huh? That’s the catch, though- there isn’t much I could add to the story of a project that’s better than God’s Word itself- and that’s the entire theme of these five songs. I sure hope this little journey through these five Psalms makes it just a bit easier to remember Scripture in times of trouble.” – Sam Bowman

Sarah Kroger Releases Deluxe Edition Of ‘A New Reality’

Sarah Kroger unveils the deluxe edition of her momentous album, “A New Reality.” The new release adds five bonus tracks to her deeply personal and hope-instilling album including brand-new songs, a feature from Leeland on “Giving Up,” and a crisp radio version of “Still Yours.”

Coming back to her most vulnerable project yet with fresh perspective, Kroger sheds more light on the need to offer songs for silent strugglers, the closet doubters, and anyone who has felt alone in their spiritual battles. She achieved this by mixing reflective tunes with congregational songs, inviting listeners to the One who makes space for the intimate in the infinite.

The 15-track album has an overall bright folk pop feel laced with contemplative and ethereal sounds.

“’A New Reality’ was such a significant album in my artistic and spiritual journey,”Kroger shared.“With over 70 songs written for it, I couldn’t just release 10! I hope these bonus tracks lead listeners deeper into the wonder and mystery of God.”

With “A New Reality (Deluxe),” Kroger reaffirms that a depth of vulnerability and introspection can lead to awe at God’s mystery, not away from it. She encourages the Church to approach conversations around faith and doubt, allowing God to mend the tangled threads of one’s unraveling into a reconstructed picture again.

In addition to the deluxe album, Kroger just released a two-part episode with Leeland on her podcast, “No Filters.” She is also closing 2024 with multiple collaborations; featuring on Paul Baloche’s Christmas release, “Angels We Have Heard On High/Glorious,” releasing on November 22, and collaborating with Sanctus Real on an upcoming single. Kroger is also joining Matt Maher on the “CATHEDRALS” tour this Advent season.

Sarah Emmanuel, a renowned songwriter and gospel singer from Nigeria who now resides in the United Kingdom, has released her much-awaited EP, “My Testimony” produced by Mr Deep.

My Testimony is a five-track album celebrating God’s awesomeness. It begins with ‘Thank You Lord’, emphasizing the importance of thanksgiving to God. It is followed shortly by ‘Kosoun te o le se,’ which reinforces that nothing is impossible for God.

‘Dwelling’ expresses the peace of being in God’s presence, whereas ‘Loving You’ expresses that walking with God is impossible without loving Him. In the sixth tune, ‘You Grace,’ God is given credit for what we have and who we are. We are who we are because of His Grace; without Him, the vicissitudes of life would have destroyed us. What a testament to God’s awesomeness!
