Citizens have been writing songs that tell true and relatable stories since the beginning. The Seattle-born alternative band don’t shy away from writing lyrics and melodies that reach deep places in their audience’s souls.

They bring people together around vulnerability and acceptance, and their new single ‘Everything And More’, announcing a brand new album later this year, continues to invite us into the journey of faith Citizens candidly explore through songs. ‘Everything And More’ emerged as lead singer Zach Bolen sat at the piano, “when I think back on it,” he says, “this song was a springboard for discovery.” From this moment, every song came from living in a space of revelation and admission that perhaps God was bigger than one could possibly know.

Citizens introducing their upcoming project with this song is no coincidence, ‘Everything And More’ is only the tip of the iceberg of Zach’s journey of unlearning and reimagining the scope in which he, and in turn we, view God.

Sonically, the new single expands on this concept with a soundtrack full of surprises. From starting on a sound bed of compressed piano and fresh beats, ‘Everything And More’ grows into an expansive track where layers of 80s synths, dreamy strings and echoing voices of Zach’s kids yelling in the background collide into a song oozing with fun and creativity. “Everything And More” is available now.

Nashville-based singer/songwriter Munday Martin releases new music this week. His new song titled “Until He Sings” is available now to download/stream.

“I initially wrote ‘Until He Sings’ to remind people Jesus Is Coming and we have work to do. There are still billions of people lost without Christ. This song is an awakening song to encourage believers to share their faith with others,” Martin shares about the new track.

Matt Moore’s latest single “Beautiful” recently hit #1 on CMW’s Christian Rock chart and has continued to hold steady in the top 3, making it his most successful single to date.

“Honestly, I’ve been absolutely blown away by the response to ‘Beautiful!’” Matt shares. “I never dreamed that a song so personal and close to my heart would connect with so many other people, let alone hit #1 on the Christian Rock radio charts! “Beautiful” is a song that Matt originally wrote for his teenage daughter. He truly believes that the message is one that so many people need to hear. The songwriter says, “‘Beautiful’ is about allowing God to heal our brokenness, to show Himself strong in our weakness, to take the broken and messed up things and make them part of our story. And if a messed up dad can feel this kind of love for his daughter and see her in this way, how much more does God feel this about her, and me, and you?”

The song is the latest single from the 2021 release The Art of Precious Scars, which also included previous chart climber “Broken Pieces.” Matt has recently taken the project to the next level with an EDM remix of “Broken Pieces” and a vulnerable piano ballad take on “The Promise.” For “Broken Pieces,” he collaborated with Christian pop/EDM hitmaker Matthew Parker.

“Matthew Parker is an awesome artist and human being, and he brought an incredible sound and energy to this new remix,” Matt says.

Nashville-based duo Arbor North not only capture hearts with their divine vocals, but also with their true and pure love story. Michael Boris & AC Jones have a shared Christian faith that they are keen to share with a UK & US audience, and intend to do so through how they act and what they do and, of course, the songs they write and perform together.

New release, You, Me, and Jesus, was initially written by the now husband and wife duo, with the primary purpose of being the soundtrack for the first dance at their wedding. The song is a simplistic, meaningful and solemn vow to stand by each other and to always rest in their faith. The sensitively managed production complements the purity of the song and allows the vocals and the message to lead the way in connecting with the audience. The clarity of the strings which flow through the track are a true compliment to the vocals, which flow easily across the emotive lyrics. 

AC and Michael acknowledge that their Christian faith isn’t necessarily shared with every member of their audience, but You, Me, and Jesus spans religious divides. They hope that other people will connect with the track as a love song in its own right, making it an intrinsic part of the musical backdrop of their special day.

The title, “You, Me, and Jesus”, is a phrase that we started to say to each other during our time as a long-distance couple before we were married. We’d end all of our letters and cards with it when we’d write to each other, and on days when the distance made us miss each other even more than usual, we’d use the saying as a comfort. When we decided to write a wedding song, it was clear that we needed to use this little motto of ours as a title. We finally landed on exactly what we wanted the song to say, and opted for a simply-stated set of vows to each other that, at the very end, goes beyond “’til death do us part”. 

The powerful lyrics “Oh, we’ll have a few fights, who’s wrong and who’s right, but I want you to know, at the end of the day, I’m always here to stay. No, you’ll never be alone” are eminently relatable for any couple and the single stands out as a ballad with a strong meaning. 

When working on the production for this song, both AC and Michael envisaged acoustic instrumentation with a tender, somber, and almost Celtic style fiddle (performed by Kyle Pudenz). They felt that the somewhat stripped down production would allow the words to be the main focus and give the song a more intimate feel – an aim they have met to perfection. Recorded at The Blue Grotto, Nashville, You, Me, and Jesus is a love song to span genres, bringing people together as it does so. 

Christian music artist, singer and songwriter Minister Chi Divine is out with a new single titled Marvelous.

This new song is one that brings to the reminder of every listener that God’s goodness, mercy and faithfulness are endless and they are always marvelous to behold whenever we get to experience them.

The song was inspired by the popular verse from the scripture recorded in Psalm 118:23 which says “This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes”

Chi Divine started singing from a very tender age in her local church choir. Passionate about music & singing, she sees it as an avenue of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and telling the world about God’s goodness.

The US-based Nigerian Gospel minister and singer Grace Oluwaloju has released the much anticipated single “Never Fail” accompanied by the official video. This marks the third official single she’s releasing as a branded musician.

Time and time again God has proven Himself beyond all reasonable doubts that He can never fail. The Nature of God doesn’t permit him to fail. What we think of Him doesn’t adjust his goodness.

He will never fail us. He’s committed to doing us good all the days of our lives.

The soothing and propelling piece was well delivered with skillful vocal in worship. Never fail is launching out shortly after releasing a song titled “Mercy” featuring Pastor Popoola which received massive acceptance.
