Jamaican-born gospel musician Matthew Aarons is releasing his single, “Glorious,” to gospel-formatted radio outlets today. The song, written by Aarons, was produced by Kirby Trim.

Aarons, who was born in St. Anns Bay, Jamaica, was raised in a Christian home and attended a United Pentecostal Church. By the age of 5, Aarons developed a love for the drums and soon began playing at his local church. He also sang in the children’s choir and occasionally led songs for the choir.

When Aarons was 14, his family migrated to the United States, settling in Clifton, New Jersey. He began playing the piano and, later, when his family relocated to Palm Beach County, Florida, Aarons joined the marching band and became part of the drumline.

After high school graduation, Aarons became music director at Pentecostal Tabernacle of West Palm Beach (Florida), where Aarons’ father was the pastor. Aarons also worked with the choir and praise team while attending Palm Beach State College, where he was part of jazz band and jazz combo.

Aarons signed with McLaughlin Music Group for representation on May 1.

‘Anyway,’ written by Josh Grimmett, David Leonard, Chris Davenport, and Hastings, is a declaration of faith in Jesus in the face of adversity.

Hasting writes: ‘I have to trust that whatever mess I find myself in, it’s what’s making me the person I was made to be. I have to trust when it comes to God that his ‘will is worth the test’ in highlight, in heartbreak, it’s all the same and my response to him should be as such, the same.’

Nigerian Gospel Record Label, TWC Records LTD has officially unveiled Abuja-based Gospel music artist, Minister Raqell as the latest addition to join the team, signing a management deal with the minister.

TWC Records made the announcement via its social media channel, welcoming the Gospel music minister. The company also used the opportunity to announce the release of her latest single titled “You Have Done Well.”

This new song “You Have Done Me Well” is a song of gratitude to God as the minister acknowledges all that God has done, and has been to her through the lyrics. It is a song that proves God’s faithfulness to his word and his promises. The song will surely bless you.

Minister Raqell is a vocal powerhouse.
