“JOY…to the world – I’m so pleased this song is finally out.” Smith shares. “It’s more than a song but a testimony of how kind God is. That we can really only find true Joy in his presence. Even when there are cracks appearing all over my life, I can put on a garment of praise. Sometimes I lead worship with a guitar, sometimes I’ll grab a flag.

The world may call it foolish, but something powerful happens when we praise God with passion and sacrifice. What costs us nothing changes nothing. So yep, not everyone’s cup of tea, I know, but I’m young enough to run around the room and old enough to not care what anyone thinks. Here comes the JOY.”

Martin Smith has penned many of the church’s most loved songs while shaping the modern worship scene. The former frontman of the top-charting band Delirious? and multi-GMA Dove Award® winner has toured worldwide in his vast career, performing in arenas and stadiums to millions of people, including Glastonbury Festival’s main stage. He has also toured with Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams and most recently opened for Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes on their “The Blessing” European tour. Smith has also appeared in Nashville for both the “Worship Together” conference and at Bridgestone Arena for “The Send” conference.

“Why would I not sing of your praises?

Even when troubles come

Why would I not worship forever

Cos, I’ve seen the good you’ve done

And I’m not ashamed, I’m a sinner saved

No, I’m not afraid anymore

What the world calls foolish, you call freedom

Now, I won’t hold back anymore

I’ve got joy in the morning, joy in the evening

You keep me dancing, in every season

Whatever comes tomorrow, I’ve got joy…”

– lyrics from “Joy (What The World Calls Foolish)” penned by Martin Smith, David Moore, Jessie Harris, Matthew Harris, Ryan Rich, and Zach Rowe (Gateway Worship)

Josh Baldwin Drops ‘Made For More’

Bethel Music’s Gold certified singer/songwriter and worship leader Josh Baldwin drops his forthcoming solo album today, Mar 1. Baldwin’s Made For More LP is his second solo project and follow-up to his 2022 release, Where The Glory Is.

Bethel Music’s Gold certified singer/songwriter and worship leader Josh Baldwin, announces the release of his highly anticipated full-length live album, “MADE FOR MORE.” Available today with focus track “Thank You Jesus” (and corresponding music video), the eight-track project features a mix of powerful and inspiring original songs that encourage listeners to point their eyes and hearts to the God who is worthy of praise and leave them in awe and wonder of the person and power of Jesus.

“This album has been such an important project for me,” says Baldwin. “What I love most about it is that all of these songs came out of different seasons my family and I have been and are still walking through––calling on the Lord to be our help and our Prince of Peace through all of the ups and downs of life. These songs are anthems that I’ve been singing over myself and my family, reminding myself who the Lord is in me and who He’s called me to be. The heart of this album, and my heart for every person who listens, is that they would be reminded that they’ve been redeemed and called by name.”

“Made For More” is Baldwin’s seventh solo project and follow up to his 2022 release, “Where The Glory Is.” Written to inspire, encourage, and point hearts back to their Creator, the album consists of songs that Baldwin wrote from his heart for the local church and corporate worship. Throughout each track, he leads listeners back to the true intention and purpose of worship music drawing inspiration from Isaiah 43:1,which says, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”

Featuring captivating melodies, “MADE FOR MORE” provides listeners with powerful songs to remind them of their purpose as a child of God, as through the album’s title track and “Prince Of Peace,” which was born out of a personal encounter with Jesus through a battle with anxiety. Focus track “Thank You Jesus” also serves a beautiful reminder of the miracle of salvation and thankfulness in knowing that the Savior of the world calls us a friend of God.

Luke Wareham Shares Lives Cover Of Bethel Music’s “Holy Forever”

Luke Wareham has released a live cover of ‘Holy Forever’ by Bethel Music recorded live in Bristol with young people from around the local area. The song is produced by Stephenson Bros. and arrangement by Ollie Morris and is available to stream and download now.

When speaking about the new release Luke says that he can’t wait for people to hear this live recording. He says that this year ‘Holy Forever has been one of my favourite worship songs to lead and it has really helped me to encounter Jesus over the past year’.

The evening of worship we had with young people from around the local area was a time where young people had life changes encounters with Jesus. Holy Forever speaks of how we will worship for eternity and as we sang this song worship was released in the room as we gazed at Jesus. I love the verse in Revelation 4 that is reflected in the song when it says, ‘Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come’.

Luke has been in the studio recording a new EP with Dan Stirling and we are looking forward to hearing new songs from Luke throughout the rest of this year. His hope and prayer in writing songs is that they would speak into people’s everyday life situations.
