New music from chart-topping artist and songwriter Micah Tyler impacts radio today. “Praise The Lord,” the second song from his latest project, People Like Us (Fair Trade Services), is also accompanied by a not-to-be-missed music video that takes the viewer on a hilarious adventure of mishaps. Debuting with KSBJ and WayFM today, the video will be available everywhere tomorrow.

“My new song ‘Praise the Lord’ may seem a little bit simple, but at the end of the day, it’s got depth to it,” Micah Tyler shares. “If you look back at the text in Judges chapter 20, whenever Israel would go into battle, the tribe of Judah would lead the way. 

Why? Because Judah means praise. Praise is how we begin our battles. We fight our battles by loving Jesus and knowing that we can trust Him no matter what. In this world, there will be trouble, but we take heart because He has overcome the world. For that, we can praise the Lord.”

Tyler’s People Like Us six-song EP, which dropped in March, debuted with “I See Grace” and held the No. 1 spot at on the Billboard National Christian Audience chart for five weeks. With songs such as “I See Grace” and “Praise The Lord,” it is Tyler’s hope that these news songs can bring people together more than ever before.

Tatiana Barnett is an established Gospel Recording Artist and mother of two from Houston, Texas. She found her love and passion for music at the age of 3. At 17, she became the Minister of Music at New Deliverance Church where her grandparents are devoted leaders.

GRAMMY®-nominated Cody Carnes has released the radio version of the title track to his forthcoming live album, Firm Foundation, which will release on August 25th. This song is going for adds today at radio and has also moved up 15 spots to the Top 20 on the most recent CCLI chart.

Although a version of the LP’s title cut has been circulating for more than a year, Carnes says he’s known for quite some time that “Firm Foundation (He Won’t)” was always meant to provide this collection’s namesake.

“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of writing, and I really believe in it,” Cody Carnes shares. “I’ve seen it spark a room while I’m leading like no other song I’ve been a part of.”

Carnes adds about the songs on this upcoming album, “These songs celebrate the God who never ever fails. They were written out of encounters with Jesus and they carry His certain hope in uncertain times. When everything around me is shaken, I’ve never been more glad that I put my faith in Jesus.”

“Firm Foundation (He Won’t)” is the follow-up song to his first-ever No. 1 radio single, “Ain’t Nobody,” which spent four weeks on the top of the Mediabase Christian Audience chart. Carnes was also recently nominated for “Breakout Single of the Year” at this year’s K-LOVE Fan Awards where he performed his hit song with country artist Russell Dickerson, which will have a special encore presentation on TBN tonight and is available on the TBN app. 

Last summer, Carnes held a two-night live worship event at his church home base, The Belonging Co., in Nashville. The special event produced his first-ever live album, God Is Good!, which was released last year as well as the upcoming Firm Foundation. Gotee Records’ Cochren & Co. has received their first No. 1 radio single on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart with the song, “Running Home.” This energetic song was co-written by Michael Cochren, 2022 NSAI Songwriter of the Year Matthew West, and Dove Award-winning producer Jeff Pardo, and is the title track to the sophomore album that was released earlier this year.
