The Duo, which consists of SoulSnatcha and Sokleva are notably renowned for their hit singles and albums including “Lagimo”, “Shock Therapy”, Chop Your Mouth”, “Silence”, “The Minority Report”, “Back At One”, “Laddah”, Eromplaini” and many more (all songs are available on online digital platforms).

The group is known to have changed the game for Urban Contemporary Gospel Music in Nigeria as they paved the way for the wide acceptance of contemporary gospel sound in Churches, Homes,Schools, the Entertainment Industry in Nigeria and Beyond. They have won numerous awards, headlined top global concerts including The Experience Lagos; toured the globe, been on the cover of major entertainment magazines and blogs; had guest appearances on the Nigerian Version of popular children’s show – “Sesame Street” ; have their own clothing line – “Jesu Kristi” and served as ambassadors for top brands during their career while building their own nuclear family units.

Rooftop MCs were also the first Artists ever interviewed on BET International and had their music videos aired on the channel alongside Nikki Laoye, Lara George and Timi Dakolo in 2009.

GRAMMY nominated and Billboard #1 worship group Elevation Worship continues their chart-topping year with “RATTLE!”, which hit no.1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart this week. The single is a follow-up to the successful track “Graves Into Gardens” which also hit no. 1 earlier this year. “RATTLE!” was written last year during quarantine by Steven Furtick, Chris Brown, and Brandon Lake over voice memos and Zoom calls. The group recorded the song during a rehearsal and decided to put it on their album, Graves Into Gardens. Since then, “RATTLE!” has become a staple in Elevation Church’s worship sets and has found success on radio.

“It honestly feels quite providential that a song about resurrection and living and breathing again has resonated with so many throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope it continues to inspire faith to believe God for even greater days ahead of us. The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced Dove Award-winning Artists Natalie Grant and Jonathan McReynolds will co-host this year’s GMA Dove Awards. Also revealed today were the first slate of nominated performers including: Lauren Daigle, Elevation Worship, KB, CeCe Winans and Zach Williams.

The 52nd GMA Dove Awards are set to air exclusively on TBN, Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. ET and again at 10:00 p.m. ET. The event will take place live and in person in Nashville, TN, October 19th, 2021. A limited number of tickets and Fan Experiences are still available on doveawards.com.

This will be Jonathan McReynolds’s first time hosting as he joins Natalie Grant, who first hosted in 2010. Both artists are current nominees and will be performing live on the show.

Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Lecrae, has partnered with Experian North America, a leading information services company, to present, “Protect The Bag,” a six-part web series, that provides viewers with a blueprint for building a financial legacy.

The video series produced by Lecrae’s production company, 3 Strand Films, premieres Fall 2021, and guides audiences through the ins and outs of financial health. Through short sketches and the help of some high-profile special guests, Lecrae will break down the basics of financial literacy and credit education to help viewers understand how to balance their financial needs of today, with those of tomorrow.

“I am on a mission to spread the word on financial education because I wasn’t educated about money and didn’t know about budgeting,” Lecrae explained. “I didn’t know to think about the cost of things or what to pay off first because I just didn’t have a strategy.” He believes that through his unique vision, partnered with Experian’s expertise, the message of financial health and inclusion will be embraced.

Each episode will cover a key point of building a financial legacy starting with understanding money and utilizing checking and savings accounts. Other topics include budgeting, saving, protecting one’s identity, debt, and investing.

This partnership is part of Experian’s United for Financial Health, a global financial recovery initiative that helps educate and empower vulnerable consumers around their finances and minority business owners around financial health. Under this program, Lecrae previously supported the Home Preservation Grant, an Experian partnership with the NAACP to provide mortgage relief to homeowners negatively impacted by COVID-19.

“Credit education isn’t always taught in homes and schools. In fact, a recent Experian survey shows almost one in three (30%) of young adults wish they learned how to build credit or improve their credit scores before entering adulthood,” said Wil Lewis, chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer for Experian. “We’re excited to partner with Lecrae for ’Protect The Bag’ and see this as an innovative way to reach young consumers so they can start their financial health journey on the right foot.”
