Songwriter and record label boss Mama Tee returns with a Hebrew and English version of her Christmas song titled “Shalom Elohim Alaich” (Peace Unto You). This project was a collaboration between recording artist Raphael Emeka and a team he had been working with from Israel for some of his previous releases. This song takes us back to the birth of Jesus using a combination of Hebrew and English to describe the purpose of Christmas!
Mama Tee wanted the song in Hebrew, because the old testament was written in Hebrew. The old testament made frequent references to the coming of Christ. An opportunity to have a song sung in one of the main languages of the Bible was one she couldn’t pass up!
Mama Tee reiterates that the purpose of Christmas is written in John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17 NKJV
The Original song was written by Tolu, composed and produced by Emmanuel Awipi, sung by Rume.
This version sees Raphael Emeka and his wife Ikiomongha Opere team up to deliver the Hebrew parts of the song. The translation was done by David and Yonnah Bronshtein and others.

Defender as the song is titled was inspired purely from an experiential encounter with God during an extremely adverse moment for me; and it couldn’t be any better without having the prolific Godfrey Gad feature in the song to transmit the message to the world – Evrard SIA.
Hailing from Bamenda, Cameroon Evrard SIA is known to have sang several covers like “Great God” by Israel Osho and “Joy” by Called Out Music which all happen to be exceptional and this song “Defender” happens to be his debut single just a few months after releasing the song covers previously mentioned.

Award-winning Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist Natalie Grant puts a spiritual stamp on “You Will Be Found” from the celebrated musical-turned-movie Dear Evan Hansen. Enlisting the help of acclaimed singer/songwriter Cory Asbury, Grant’s moving version of the hope-filled ballad is available today (12/16) — listen HERE.
“The first time I ever heard this song, I was so overcome with how it just made me think of the message of the Gospel. The lyrics immediately made me think of the love of Jesus and how it has the ability to find every single one of us. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, there’s never a moment that you are so far gone that the love of God can’t find you,” Grant says. “I feel like I have the opportunity, not only to let the love of God find me, but to then let the love of God shine through me so I can carry that light and that love to so many people who need to know the message that no matter who you are, when you’re broken and on the ground, you will be found.”
“You Will Be Found (feat. Cory Asbury)” was written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman), and produced by Grant’s husband, Bernie Herms. The track has become an anthem for those struggling with anxiety and depression, and Grant prays her rendition will provide a source of encouragement and peace for listeners as she points to the ultimate hope found in Jesus in the midst of a busy holiday season.
